A word from Hapa Sushi Grill & Sake Bar - Cherry Creek
The name Hapa is derived from the Hawaiian term that describes a harmonious blend of Asian and American cultures. Like our name, our food reflects this dynamic combination. The menu is based on traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals which are then amplified, muted, or mixed with influences from many different styles of cooking until they are something completely new: they're Hapa. We have stretched the boundaries of creativity to develop dishes that defy all the rules while holding true to our roots. We hope you will find our menu innovative, uninhibited, and distinctly fun! Incomplete parties will not be sat until complete.

Parking on Friday night (at Cherry Creek) was extremely tough to find. I would allow extra time since Hapa will only hold the table 10 minutes past your reservation time.

Hapa is my boyfriend's and my all time favorite restaurant. We love the staff, know several of them by name. We've even had them fight over who gets to serve us. I LOVE IT! The Surf and Turf and Purple Haze saki were incredible. The service, as always, was impeccable. When the restaurant is busy, there's still a very hip, laid back ambiance. When they're packed, we never feel crowded. I'd recommend this restaurant for anyone going on a first date, anniversary, feeling romantic, feeling SASSY... If you want to go to dinner and then go somewhere and listen to some music, it's the perfect beginning to a wonderful evening. We normally stay for the duration. We will continue to frequent Hapa and WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

I had never been to a Sushi restaurant before and so I did not know what to order, the wait staff at Hapa's was great at suggesting the perfect rolls for someone who is new to sushi. I want to thank the staff at Hapa for their great service on my 31st birthday.

Your choices for NOISE are creative to say the least. ENERGETIC came the closest to what we experienced - but it was more like one notch below rock concert - not painful but really annoying. We ate as quickly as we could and left so that we could converse with our guest without shouting or straining to hear. The food was okay but nothing special, the decor minimal and basic - service was distracted and sporatic. Overall, edible food but not a place that I would recommend to a friend.

This restaurant was amazing it had a wide variety of sushi and was very well made. My waiter was very helpful on suggesting and describing the sushi rolls. He was also very tentative to my table, so that made it very easy for my dinning experience, especially when I needed some help with the menu. The only thing that wasn't so great was how the tables were setup so close together. I got kinda squished but other than that the restaurant was very great.

Hapa contineues to be one of my favorite sushi restaurants in Denver. They have the most creative rolls with names that ensure a good laugh! It's a fairly small restaurant with lots of 2 tops so it's not the best for a big group.

We met relatives there who had been to Hapas in Cherry Creek many times and ordered for all 4 of us. The orgasm rolls were delicious and the 69 rolls were sooo good that we ordered another serving - don't know what is in the sauce that tops the 69 rolls but it is mouthwatering! In fact, everything we ate was wonderful. The tempura banana split dessert was "icing on the cake" for us! The service was very friendly and the wine was excellent. We had a wonderful dining experience. I can't think of a thing that could have been better. There is a regular menu for those who don't like sushi, but the california rolls are so good I can't imagine anyone not liking them. We will go back!

We always love Hapa. We went on this occasion to celebrate our son's 5th birthday, as this is where he chose. Everything was great as usual. Our son got wild salmon sashimi and tuna nigiri, our daughter had agedashi and cheeto roll, our younger son had chicken terryaki and my husband and I split 4 various rolls, including the orgasm roll and the ruby red roll. They brought out mochi ice cream for our sons birthday, which was a huge hit!
