A word from Hapa Sushi Grill & Sake Bar - Cherry Creek
The name Hapa is derived from the Hawaiian term that describes a harmonious blend of Asian and American cultures. Like our name, our food reflects this dynamic combination. The menu is based on traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals which are then amplified, muted, or mixed with influences from many different styles of cooking until they are something completely new: they're Hapa. We have stretched the boundaries of creativity to develop dishes that defy all the rules while holding true to our roots. We hope you will find our menu innovative, uninhibited, and distinctly fun! Incomplete parties will not be sat until complete.

Birthday dinner for a dear friend was a great time! Food @ Hapa was excellent. Atmosphere is quieter than the Den, albeit quite snug for larger parties (5 at our table). Cannot go wrong in CC North.

First time visit. Others in the group had been there before and loved it for happy hour and dinner. The waitress was helpful in making suggestions from the vast array of menu options. The food quality is excellent and the ambiance is very nice. Chopsticks provided but silverware is available upon request.

My wife, another couple and I met at Hapa Sushi for dinner. We hadn't been there in quite some time and were extremely satisfied with the experience, again. The food was fresh, tasty and well presented. It was a bit noisy but I guess anyplace, on a Friday evening is noisy, as well. Service was good. We will be back. Thank you for a really good meal.

Hapa Cherry Creek is definitely the place to be...reservation is DEFINITELY recommended. Was impressed by the breadth of the menu, although the rolls were a little less inspiring than we would have hoped, given the price and reputation. The restaurant is definitely focused on volume, so don't be looking for a quiet romantic evening, and be prepared to be up close and personal with the neighboring table, the door, space heaters, you name it. But the atmosphere was definitely fun for a couple young people and the food was very good. Ask yourself what you're looking for, but if its an energetic night on the town with some good fish, Hapa's a good spot!

The sushi was great! But we sat there forever and waited for our waiter. Once she showed she barely talked and we never saw her again. She was replaced and that guy was awesome. If we had him from the beginning I would probably give a better rating. The tables are close together so don't go thinking you'll have a private conversation or any privacy. But the sushi was great so it's worth a shot.

Dined for a date. The food was good. The service exemplary! The outdoor seating was close, but comfortable. The place was busy for a Wednesday evening and a bit noisy, but many couples and groups dined. We moved from outside to in as the evening turned cold and they readily accommodated us. I would definitely visit again!

They went out of their way to greet the birthday girl! They made us feel like we could sit and really enjoy the evening chatting! No looking over your shoulder, pushing us out the door. I know we'll make it a favorite spot to spend time with special friends.Thank you for the fantastic service!

I took my sister for her first sushi experience. We were seated right away and nicely welcomed. The restaurant was very busy, but the staff was very nice. After ordering, every course took a very long time to be served. They were very apologetic and kept us informed, but it still took quite awhile to be served. At the end they gave us a nice discount and again apologized. I will go again because of their courtesy and awareness. They recovered because they made us feel they cared.

We ate at Hapa while visiting Denver. It was the best Asian food that I ever tasted. I consider myself a foodie. The sushi rolls were fabulous. There were some interesting rolls that I had never seen before. They were terrific. We enjoyed one of the catapiller rolls. We also had a salmon dish which was amazing. The vegetables were delicious and the salmon so fresh and prepared to perfection. We also loved the desserts. I can't wait to return to this restaurant.

We took my daughter and her girlfriends to Hapa for her 13th birthday party. The service was great. When we got there they tried to seat us at a table for 4 when we were a table of 8, but after we said "This is abviously not going to work" they sat us in a perfect spot. We are Gluten Free and they have a large menu of GF items to choose from so this place is perfect.

Wonderful scene. It was a nice, overcast, summer afternoon and we got a seat to watch the street life of Cherry Creek North. A cool breeze was there to make it more pleasant. But most of all our food was deeeelish. I had the seasoned edamame, which I could eat all by myself. In additon, the Colroado style Sashimi was out of this world good. The house salad was fresh and a wonderful contrast to the spice of the food. The manager came out twice to talk. Our server was a new guy but he knew what he was doing . Had a great time with him. He anticipated our needs without being too intrusive despite the small space at the patio Saw great sstrett cenes without the noise intruding our dinner as the patio is above street level Eat here!
