Outstanding Food, all courses were outstanding. I have been talking about this restaurant all weekend. The service was great. Very attentive. Great atmosphere. The cocktails were excellent. I was surprised to learn what I have been missing as we dine in the city often. Thank you. Cant wait to come back.

The food took too long to come. We had the lamb and bison, both of which were mediocre. The ambience was good, but the service was sub-standard for what ypu pay. Overall it was an ok experience, but not something I'd highly recommend.

when people are in the bar and then brought over to eat in the dining room there should be an easy transition. we had to wait and then finally just leave our credit card to pay up at the bar(it was returned to us after we were seated at our table). We also carried our own drinks to our table from the bar. For such a beautiful and elogent place I think all of this could have been much smoother. We love the room and the food and the raw bar and we also had excellent service by our waiter and we will continue to patronize the restaurant because it is such a gem.

I have dined at Nineteen on several occasions and each time I have visited, I am always surprised and delighted with the level of service and of course the delicious cuisine. I can honestly say that I have never visited a venue with so much character. This restaurant is in class of it's own.

We chose to dine at XIX for the amazing view of the Philly skyline, however XIX was doing construction and we could barely see the skyline behind the wooden planks, black tarps, and metal beams...Had this not been an issue, the overall experience would have been great, rather than a bit disappointing. I'd recommend calling ahead to verify if the construction is complete before making dinner reservations.

I liked the diverse menu. Our servers were attentive, yet relaxed and fun, not arrogant or stuffy. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. My only complaint was that the 4 story chicken (very cool how they put the whole bird on the plate upright)and vegetables were overly salted. The room with it's whimsical pearl chandelier is lovely, especially once it is dark outside. Definitely worth another visit. Also, a nice touch was that they printed up a special menu for us that said "Anniversary Menu" at the top because I mentioned on my reservation request that it was our anniversary. The ambiance, food and service are a winning combination.

If you're looking for an upscale place to hob-nob with the rich and powerful, look no further. Nineteen-XIX is a stunningly beautiful restaurant with impeccable service. The food is respectable, as should be expected for the price, but hardcore foodies should look elsewhere for their fix. If you're looking for the best tasting dim sum, head to Chinatown, but if you're looking for a refined environment that exudes class, head up the elevator to Nineteen-XIX.

A true "fine dining" experience. Good for special events. Even the wines by the glass were given for tasting before the pour, and the white wine ordered by the ladies was not poured until they had returned from the ladies room so it would be properly chilled. Parking very convenient, especially in bad weather. One negative: I had requested a table with a view on my reservation form, but was shown to an interior table near the entrance. After a brief delay while the matre d' was consulted we were given one of several available window tables.

We CLEARLY asked for a table with the "best" view way in advance We got stuck in traffic and called, arrived 1/2 hour late and found MANY tables next to a window. We AGAIN asked for a table with a view and were told by the maitre'D that they COULD NOT give us (one of MANY ) tables by the window because each waitress had a "quota" We will not return (PS Our Waitress was GREAT! quick service ) however, a place that touts thier "view" has a lot of work ahead. Asking patrons for "Special requests" is apparently useless

NOT IMPRESSED. Brunch was $65/pp when advertised as $46/pp on website. I paid $186 (includes tip) for 2 people. Nuts! I will not return. Did not enjoy watching all the hotel guests roll on and off the elevator with all their luggage to check out. Did not enjoy the enormous draft coming from the door we sat by. The decor is dingy, old and doesn't look as nice and fresh as it does on the website. Where are those beads hanging from the ceiling? I didn't see them. Hostess did not offer to validate our parking - I had to ask. That's ridiculous. Bloody Mary's were tasteless and extremely watered down. Waitress spoke broken english in a whisper. No thanks.

I have dined for brunch at this restaurant before (two mos ago), and ordered off the menu, not the full brunch buffet and our service was delightful, and the entire experience was terrific. This time, the server was in a total frenzy. When she finally came over, she brought water, and spilled 4 of 5 glasses she poured on the table and never wiped it up. When the bottle of wine arrived, she poured all five glasses, realized there was about a glass left in teh bottle and proceeded to overfill three of the glasses so she could empty the bottle and take it away (it was apparent she was trying to empty the bottle by the end the way she was holding it upside down to empty it vs. actually pour!).

my family and i recently went to nineteen for brunch, i don not think we'll be back. We were the first guests to arrive in the dinning room, i requested a window table. We sat at the table and noticed to was very wabblely. Second when i looked out the window i saw construction material and equiptment, very dirty. So our server moved us two tables over. As people started coming in i noticed a table who was seated in the middle of the dinning room. They moved their table to a window with a great view and no construction material!! Kind of odd we couldn't sit there?? so now the food, it was very tasty but the buffet was the length of the whole floor, i didnt like that so much. Our service was very poor. i don't think there wasenoughhelp

Restaurant did a lovely (and smart) job at providing personalized touches to acknowledge our anniversary - from a few of the servers and the hostess wishing us a great anniversary,to the extra copy of our 'anniversay' menu (they printed that at the top of our menu) to the small wisp of chocolate accenting our desserts that had Happy Anniversary" on it. This extra attention ensured that we will be telling ur friends and family about the lovely job Nineteen does for special occasions...We decided then and there to celebrate a 40th brithday party there, and we are really looking forward to it. We have dined there twice and everything was outstanding both times. It is a luxurious step back into the past to sit in the elegant dining room and have attentive, knowledgeable waiters serve you. We watched the street scene below us and then the sunset, and enjoyed the lights of the city slowly come on. All of our meals were excellent, but I would particularly mention the soft shell crab appetizer and the lamb special. Also the pistachio mousse dessert. We will certainly return and encourage others to do so. Also well priced for the city restaurants.
