The service was very good, the food was tasty and well prepared and presented. There were two vegetarian options on the menu and they both sounded good. Debra, the wine person, came over to discuss wines with us and offered us several tastes of Russian River Vineyards wines. The grounds are beautiful and if we had remembered our jackets, it would have been lovely to eat outside. The corn soup was very good and the truffle risotto cake that came with the salmon was outstanding!

It is a shame that this place is considered the best outdoor dining in Sonoma County. While pleasant, it doesn't take advantage of any of the beautiful views - the outdoor seating area is surrounded by buildings. When it got chilly, all but 1 were broken (or perhaps out of propane) and patrons were visibly cold. As for the food, it was underwhelming. While it was decent, there are numerous places throughout the county where I can get a much better meal and for a better price too. The service was poor - our waiter apologized numerous times for being short staffed in the kitchen and for our food taking so long but he did nothing to accommodate for the wait, failing to bring bread after being asked and the food was lukewarm when it arrived.

Lovely outdoor patio and the staff was very attentive. We started with the poached oysters and a mixed green salad with strawberries. The oysters were tasty and the salad refreshing. Our entrees were the salmon which was a tad overcooked and the eggplant ravioli which was a little misleading. The ravioli was a mound of tasty eggplant stuffing covered by a sheet of pasta. We would have preferred the tradtional ravioli "packaging". All in all a lovely summer evening.

We experienced a beautiful early dinner on the outdoor patio. Service was fast, efficient and first rate. I had an incredible free form ravioi dish with an eggplant filling that was delicious. My dining partner had free range grilled chicken which was moist and tender and made chicken a dining experience! Wine servings were generous and complimented our meal perfectly. Depending on where you are seated this place can be romantic or kid friendly. Both indoor and outdoor seating are arranged for enough privacy to enjoy your meal and not be bothered by conversations at other tables.

We had a fantastic dinner there recently. After a false start (they seated us outside near a heater only to eventually realize the heater wouldn't work), the food was very good and service was excellent. Prices were fair for a fancy meal in an expensive area. I would go back and I also would take visiting friends and family there because of the spectacular view.

This is a truly wonderful spot and we were so pleased to stumble upon it. The owner has been upgrading this facility for three years. The resident dog, Chester, played with our two dogs as we had a luxurious, yet reasonably priced brunch al fresco. the menu had something for everyone in our party and this was a winery/restaurant experience that we will soon visit again!

This place is known for their outside patio dining, which was very nice, however from the patio there is no view where you could overlook the vineyard. You are just nestled between buildings. The wine was very nice, the port was excellent, and everything went well with our entrees. Our appetizer was lost and never came, but our server, who was very good despite the mistake, handled the situation appropriately and kept us happy.

We hadn't been to the restaurant since it was Stella's. It was a warm night and I had the dungeness crab salad and the blue cheese souffle, and I couldn't have selected a better dinner. The desserts were excellent; homemade. But what made the dinner special was the wine flight - three nice-sized pours (pretty close to the normal pour you would get at any other restaurant) and so much fun to taste them. I will definitely be back again soon, and I need to stop by to get some of their wonderful chardonnay.

Although the service was slow and a bit spotty, the servers were very nice and the food was outstanding. The weather was quite hot and the air conditioning was inadequate and noisy. The food, however, was out of this world: beautiful presentation and the taste did not disappoint. Prices were not exorbitant based on the quality of the meal. Servers, though willing, were not well-trained in wine recommendations as most of them were underage. All in all, it was a noteworthy experience.

On our 4th or 5th visit, the service staff is hit-or-miss, e.g., need to ask for silverware, oddball plate removal while still eating, etc. Curiously, the bus staff was more attuned to our needs than the servers! The food is essentially all. The kitchen still seems overly fond of the salt shaker. The taste combinations and presentations really worked well, but the saltiness was a major take-away. We intend to return in the hope that the front of the house difficulties are part of the shake down phase.

Outdoor dining under the redwood trees in the Russian River Forestville area - truly a gem. We had the new york steak and the pork chops. The beef was excellent - extremely tender and flavorful. The pork chops also were exceptional in texture and flavor. Try a bottle of their port (restaurant is located at the Russian River winery) to round out the evening - have a glass then take home the rest.

We love Corks. The food is wonderful and the service is better. We went on Fathers Day and expected loud as most restaurants are packed for holidays. While there were a lot of people, the way they offer seating keeps the noise level manageable. I did have a problem with my main dish, very unusual for Corks, however, they were so accomodating. We will definitely go back. It is now added to one of our top favorite restaurants in Sonoma County.

Originally went here years ago when it was Topolos and liked it. Looked forward to trying Cork's for Father's Day Brunch but were sorely disappointed with food and service particularly after spending $90 for three people. Steak/Eggs/Potatoes/Fruit were all tasteless & steak was tough with tendons running throughout. Other 2 dishes ordered-hot chicken sandwich and burger- also not up to par. Thumbs up for appetizer of fruit/salami/Brie/Olives. Servers came to table only twice during entire time there. Bus personnel did more to attend to us than servers. Had to ask for what we needed even a "steak" knife which in the end didn't help with the tough steak. Noticed this type of service was not unique to our table. Won't be going back.

I recently took my family to Corks for Father's Day brunch and I was very happy with my choice. I was pleased with my Eggs Benedict (and I'm picky about that) and everyone else seemed content with their meal as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous assortment of fresh fruit that accompanied the entree. The table, which was situated under tall trees, was set beautifully with fresh flowers. The service was very attentive until it was time for the check. We had waited for a very long time and had to get up to ask someone to bring it; and it was still a long time after that. I would certainly cut them some slack over that issue because they were extremely busy, but it happens to be one of my husbands pet peeves. All in all very good!

Had a wonderful experience! Was greeted with smiles, knowledgeable staff. My husband and I shared the charcuterie plate and a prosciutto cheese salad both were ample enough to share. My husband had the sea bass and I had the salmon and we were amazed at the freshness and the flavor. for dessert we shared the chocolate bread pudding and WOW was it good! We had several staffers come and check on us through out the meal. Very nice and we are defiantly going to come again. I think next time I will try the brunch! Beautiful peaceful location with great views no matter where you are seated. Very comfortable padded chairs are provided with overall classy, elegant, yet comfortable, unpretentious farm style decor. Private secluded feel, yet offers vistas of vineyards and distant hills on the horizon. The food is unique, exciting, and ARTISTICALLY BALANCED. If you dine here, you will get to see some entertaining expressions around the table as people take their first eye-roll-back bites. An owner was on site and he kindly chatted with us for a good hour about wines and at the tasting bar. He is very down to earth, as the rest of the staff. Our waitress was also very kind, genuine and professional. I've been to the best and this is among them.

Wonderful restaurant. My husband had the pea soup and then steak. Everything cooked to perfection. I had the poached oysters, small and very flavorful, Then I had the crab and asian pear salad It was a large portion of actual chunks of crab, not the usual slivers you get in most restaurants. Then I had the chicken. Moist, tender. I had to bring some home....what a shame:) The chef also sent out a smoked fish appetizer and a choclate after dinner treat. This is a favorite of ours from last night on. We will be back. Service was wonderful and caring. Wine excellent. Do not miss this restaurant. I wouldn't bring children but perfect for Date Night.Topolos is gone from Corks has arrived.
