Del Frisco's Steakhouse is the most beautiful restaurant I have ever seen, it was a a wonderful evening. The food was superb and the wait staff goes out of their way to accomodate. My friend was talking to our waiter, Kevin, about the history of the building and when we were done our meal, he sent someone over to give us a tour of the upstairs, which is closed on Sundays, what a great thing to do. We look forward to dining there again.

Overall, the dinner was excellent. The sides we ordered weren't very special (fried potatoes, asparagus, and mushrooms were all done very average), but the steak was outstanding and that is why we came. The music was also a bit too loud, and the small candle on the table looked like it came from Target. However, the service was very friendly and helpful, the drinks well prepared, and the architecture is absolutely beautiful. For a special occasion, it was worth the price.

Outstanding. From the moment I entered....the staff at the reception desk were great. Marty the bartender at lunch was terrific. The drinks were fabulous. Justin our waiter, although extremely youthful, was a joy. He was extremely attentive without being annoying. And the sommelier directed us to a very good inexpensive wine. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends. Even the non-carnivores! Can't wait to return.

My family now has a new favorite among the chain steakhouses in Philadelphia! Everything was very good, the steaks came out as ordered and the sides were excellent in both quality and size. The only downside to the evening was the pricing on the wine list, relative to the food prices at DelFrisco's and wine prices at other, local high-end steakhouses, wines listed were out of price alignment by 25-30 percent. I will go back, I will eat and bring friends but wine will not be ordered.

Maybe it's because they just opened but they have a lot a issues to straighten out. The food was great but the time in which it came out after ordering was horrible. We didn't receive our sides until we were almost done with our steaks. We waited for over an hour to get seated and had a reservation. Hopefully, Del Frisco will fix their problems and become one of the premiere steakhouses in Philly.

Worst meal we have had in months. Overpriced and poorly prepared. I started with oysters that were tiny and flat, next I ordered the fish special and it tasted like meat, obviously it was prepared in a pan previously used for a steak, and the beet puree was bitter. My companion ordered a fillet and it was just OK. Dessert was nothing special. Would not recommend this place to anyone, as there are so many excellent restaurants in Philly.

Great food and waiter service. Poor organizational process-- greeting customers, seating them, etc. Most of the staff only wanted to hear that everything was "perfect"-- a highly overused word by most of the staff. It was a disingenuous attitude, at best.

My husband and I went there for Valentine's dinner. It is a great aptmosphere in a beautiful building, however, it is not very romantic as the tables are close together and it's very loud due to high, echoing ceilings. They also had really upbeat music playing the whole time that was a little distracting by the end of dinner. If you can, request a table upstairs away from the busy main level bar. There is also a room in the basement that appeared to be really quiet, however, we were unsure if they were serving down there. The food was excellent. The steak was done perfectly and the tuna was also cooked to perfection. Overall, it's a nice place for dinner and definately worth a trip. Especially if you like wine!

The service was excellent. We had a group of eleven and they gave us a private room. The filet I had was top notch and had a bit of spicy crust which made it even better. I was disappointed at the prices of the specials. I really had wanted a bone in filet but wasn't going to pay $64 for it. The other special were also very pricey. Overall it was a great dinig experience.

After dining at Del Frisco's in NYC on many occasions I was mildly disappointed in my dinner. The steaks, a filet and bone-in ribeye, were good, but they weren't exceptional. The filet had a decent crust and was cooked appropriately, but it was lacking in flavor. The ribeye was a little greasy, had no crust and was fattier than what I am accustomed to. I understand a ribeye is fatty, but this one was fattier than normal. The crabcake appetizer was fine, the wine was good and the onion rings were exceptional. Service was fine. Unlike other reviews I've read on other sites, I did not feel rushed at all, especially for a Friday night. Overall, the experience was probably a 3 out 5. In the future I would probably try another locale

It was my first visit, but definitely not my last. The food was superb, the ambiance fantastic and the service beyond excellent (if this is possible). I thoroughly enjoyed the entire dining experience from the appetizers to the magnificent desserts; the seven layer lemon cake was absolutely heavenly divine and the cheesecake was so light and yet so creamy and very tasty, hmmmm . . . the atmosphere was vibrant; the air was filled with excitement and anticipation - very much the place to be and enjoy, great food, friends and family. Compliments and kudoos to the very gracious "Wait-Staff". WOW! What service with genuine smiles, graciousness and expertise in presenting and serving the meal. I felt like I was true royalty - thank you!

    Dined on 2/12/2009
In a city with so many steak house options this one manages to tallie into last place. Our table wasn't ready when we were brought to it. The waiter was overly ambitious in selling at every moment. Then when the steaks arrived he brought one wrong one (completely wrong cut) and one incorrectly cooked. It took them over 10 mins to replace the incorrect steak, which is odd considering they must have at least 4 of each cut going on the grill at all times. For the amount they charge the quality of the cut was well below acceptable. The amount of space they provide was also dismal. They need to remove about 100 seats so that servers can actually make their way through the floor without hitting chairs every 10 feet. Overall its a pass.

For all of the hype surrounding Del Frisco's I was disappointed. The food was good but I was expecting a dining experience not just another dinner. There was an empty chair at our table right next to a large marble pole. The floor manager and a server just cut between our table and the pole instead of walking around our table, with out even an "excuse me"! The servers were nice but there just seemed to be a flurry of them. They should have been more transparent, smooth. For the price I expected more of a well oiled, sophisiticated restaurant. I'd like to comment on the female staff. The very short black dresses and fishnet stockings were a bit much. Again, lacked sophistication.
