Great place for celebrating a special occassion. We would definitely return! I would ask for a booth which seemed to be quieter than the stand alone table we had. This former bank has very high ceiling so the noise level is higher. Don't miss visiting the restrooms on the lower level and the open vault door into the wine cellar - great room for a private 8-10 party. The food was delivered very hot and our waitress was very attentive! Our dining experience lasted 2 hours.

Beautiful renovation of one of Philadelphia's oldest banks. The glass enclosed wine cellar through the middle of the restaurant is spectacular. If you are a real wine enthusiast, visit the old bank vault downstairs to see the rest of the cellars. The food and service were as good as any you'll find in Philadelphia (or New York for that matter).

Lemon Drop Martinis, Lobster Mac & Cheese and Seven Layer Lemon Cake were to die for - Outstanding. If I were ever to return, it would be for those 3 items. Little pricey. Our waiter could have been a little friendlier - he was rather bland. Barmaid who helped with our drinks couldn't have been any nicer - she was a definite plus for our night out. The bread was nothing to write home about - it was just okay. Steaks were on the same level as The Capital Grill. The restaurant itself was absolutely stunning - that in itself was something to see.

I love this place, its a classic "where the big boys go to eat" type of place. Everything was top notch, when you have a special occasion, this is the place to go. The food was awesome, from the shrimp cocktail to the creme brulee. I had the signature steak, at $65 dollars one would think its expensive, but if you love steak, it is not to be missed. The wife prefers her steak well done, this was the first place to get it right, done all the way through, yet still moist and tender. Service was spectacular. Some might find the pacing of the meal a bit slow, but if youre there for a special occasion, "whats the rush?" Del Frisco's pace was slow down and enjoy our ambiance. I heartily agree.

Beautiful place, Excellent food, Service was below average .Kind of ruined it for us ,Server was not real responsive and initially we had to wait 40 minute for our first round of drrinks.I never complain to servers but this time I had to. The drinks are very expensive and he had a table of people who were willing to spend money all night long on drinks but I felt we had to flag the server down for every round. Back to the Capitol Grill for us!

Service was impeccable, inside is amazing, insane winelist, and the food was unreal. Bone-in filet is one of the best steaks I have ever had. Don't think you can get out without spending a fortune. It's my only complaint, the bill for two was crazy. I thought it would be expensive, but 320 for two people is nuts. Worth it for a special occasion.

I'll be surprised if Del Frisco's is still here in a year with the sort of stiff competition it faces. The service was mediocre. We felt like our food was being rushed to the table even though we were asked if we had a theater commitment and we said no. Regardless, the food came so fast that we had to ask them to stop and slow it down. The wait staff wanders around the restaurant like lost children (annoying). No manager (there were 4 of them) stopped at our table to ask how we enjoyed the meal. The food, though above average, was over-salted. The crab gnocchi was the best part of the meal (although too salty again). I specifically mentioned in my reservation that it was for my wife's birthday. No mention was made of that by staff.

This is not the kind of place I would usually go to. (We had a gift card.) We had two appetizers, two entrees, two side dishes and a dessert. The bill was $155, not including the tip. Everything was at least very good, but at those prices I would think very good would be the worst you should expect. My wife thought her steak was too highly seasoned. (When we told the waiter we wanted the steaks medium rare he told us what to expect; maybe they should explain the seasoning, too.) And when the waiter came over to ask how our food was, why did he feel it necessary to stay and have a conversation while we were trying to eat?
