Excellent in all categories. Menu for most items was a bit pricey but not awful considering the quality and ambiance. However, I thought that $50.00 for a steak and $65.00 for a lobster tail was over the top.

Great halfway point for Philadelphia and NJ friends to meet for lunch. Lovely restaurant, good parking, and wonderful food. Also, we had a very patient waitress and no sense of being rushed.

The first course was very good. I had the chopped salad, and my wife had some featured appetizer. Both were very good - the only problem was the server cleared our dishes immediately after we finished our first course and exchanged those dishes with the main course. There could not have been more then 10 seconds between courses, and we were 20 minutes early for our reserved time so I don't understand what the rush was for... unless it was a case of poor timing? I asked for a glass of cabernet to enjoy with the main course and had to wait until 75% of my meal was eaten before it arrived. Speaking of wine - their wine list by the bottle is excellent. Then why's their wine by the glass is so limited and mediocre. This was our last visit.

all staff were attentive--but not overly so. It was my husband's birthday and we were not rushed at all throughout the evening. It was our first visit to Earl's. While it is too expensive for a routine dining event, we would consider it for another special occassion.

Dinner was a birthday celebration. The food was excellent and the waiter couldn't be nicer or more attentive. He brought my daughter dessert with a candle even though she didn't order a dessert. She was very pleasantly surprised! Though pricey, would recommend this restaurant for a special occasion.

The food at Earl's is incredible and is always prepared to your likening and beautifully presented with a pretty flower on your entree plate. The chopped salad is enormous as are most of their dishes and definitely big enough for me to bring back the leftover for a second yummy meal. We have been there several times and the food is consistantly excellent, the service (and we have had many different waiters) is outstanding with friendly efficient waiters and we never have to wait for our table. It is always ready when we get there and even the hostesses are friendly when greeting you as you come into the restaurant. I have recommended this restaurant to many friends and they are as hooked on Earls as I am. Excellent restaurant

The food is consistently good and the wines exceptional. I recently attended a special occasion luncheon in their upstairs room and even with a group of 50 the food was prepared beautifully and appropriately hot &/or cold. Very pricey for dinner. Nice to sit at the lovely bar for lunch on the weekends. Even the "house" wines are wonderful. We enjoyed a lovely Cosentino and reminisced about our trip to the winery in Napa Valley.

  • The only thing that is worth
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008

The only thing that is worth mentioning is that my waiter discouraged our ordering our entree. He said that we should think about it and would not place our order fro a half hour. In truth we got so disgusted at his hesitation to place our orders tahtwe decided to call it an evening with just our appetizers. When we ordered deserts, he opted to give us only one because the pie was so large and we could share, even though my partner wanted something different. I felt like he was the weight police. I have eaten at your establishment before but it was the first time for my partner. It has become a story to be told at laughed at.

Our meal was excellent. The steaks were very tender. The Lobster Bisque was out of this world with plenty of lobster meat. Our server was very knowledgable not only about the menu but the wine list. She was a great help. We were out celebrating a special occasion and we weren't disappointed. However, we weren't crazy about where we sat. We were in a room off the entrance and it was close to the kitchen so there was alot of activity near us. Another dinner party was rather loud and obnoxious but you can find that anywhere. The next time we go (and there will be a next time) we will probably request to sit in the other dining room.
