I thought the food was very good. I had the shrimp/pasta dish. The only complaint I had was that the green olives gave it a "sour" taste and I stayed away from eating that. The shrimp were large and were not overcooked. My friend had the beef w/potatoes which she said was outstanding. I thought the mediterannean salad was great, similar to an antipasto, we both both that was outstanding. This is definately a "special occassion" dining experience as the prices were a little high but for the quality of the food, it was worth it. I was wondering how often the menu changed because there were only about six entrees to choose from which limited your choice.

A few years had passed since I dined at Michael Timothy's. When a few friends and I met there for finner, we were not disappointed. The decor was understated yet very tasteful and intimate. The service was attentive and, last but not least, the food was scrumptious. I chose one of the day's special, skate wing on a bed of pasta with an ever so slight flavor of curry, and topped with seasoned seaweed. The skate being a mild flavored fish, the seasonings of the dish were just right, allowing for the taste of the fish to come through. To finish the meal, I chose the chocolate cake with vanilla creme anglaise and strawberries. The cake was warm and crunchy on the outside, revealing melting chocolate on the inside. Heavenly!

We visited during Feast Week, and our meals were delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was wonderful and the wait staff are very friendly and helpful as far as describing how various dishes are made.

We've been to Michael Timothy's several times, and their food is consistently delicious. They always seem to have a soup special that's tasty (potato this time, pumpkin the last time we were here). And their warm bittersweet chocolate cake is one of the very best desserts I've ever had.

I have been to all of Mr. Buckley's restaurants, Buckley's, Surf, and this was my first time to Michael Timothy's. All offer great food and a great atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was flawless. I will admit I like the menus better at his other two restaurants more, only because there is more selection. I will continue to enjoy his restaurants every time I dine out in the Nashua area.

We, along with two other couples, were drawn to this restaurant because of the Nashua Restaurant Week promotion which was for a three-course prix-fixe meal for $20.09. We could not have been more pleased with our choice. We had a great server, John, and the food and presentation were excellent. Michael Timothy's also boasts a comprehensive wine list.

  • The worst experience I have
    MeeeVIP

The worst experience I have had in recent memory. As you know at Open Table, I have dined at a number of very good to excellent places. Will not go back to nor recommend Michael Timothys: (1) Service: Did not open the bottle of wine until entrees were served; (2) Tuna special was poorly cooked and a poor cut to begin with (I've never had tuna with gristle in it); (3) Waiter said he'd bring bread and never did - other tables he had did; (4) Did not know who was to receive which dish(there was 3 of us); (5) Spilled my soup when served; (6) Served coffee without bringing suger. Best part of the experience was the glass of wine we had in the bar before being seated. Once we were seated, well, let's just say "Never again."

Michael Timothys is an ideal special occasion or business dinner location in downtown Nashua. The menu is American bistro, varied and there is great skill and care taken in its preparation. I particularly enjoy roast meats, steaks and lamb dishes. Wine list and special Cocktail preparations are excellent. But one should not stop there. The bar serves up live jazz on weekends.

My dining experience at Michael Timothy's was wonderful. I had not eaten there in several years because I had moved away from the area. Coming back and enjoying an incredible meal convinced me that I must treat myself to an evening here more often. My daughter was home from college and we wanted a relaxing evening out. Starting off with a delicious salad, followed by a mouthwatering filet mignon and topped off with a chocolate lovers dessert, made for an unforgettable dining experience!!! The service was A+ as well!!

The food was delicious, as usual. We were disappointed that they don’t serve cheese and olives any longer. I got an appletini and it was very tasty and strong, just how I like it! The service was not as prompt as it usually is, the server’s timing was not the greatest, she would come over when we were eating and then nowhere to be found when we needed her. Overall, we have had better experiences there but we always go back, as the food and drinks are delicious!

Our dining experience was very nice. This was our first visit there but won't be our last. The food was very good, and the wine list was extensive. Just a little disappointed that the live music have to be cancelled because of the bad weather. I will recomend this restaurant to my friends in the future.
