   There was plastic in our mash potatoes. The waiter didn’t even ask us what kind of steak sauce we would like. He’s pretty busy at bar counter instead of helping us. Compare with the first time we were there last month, today’s dinner experience was pretty bad.

   The food was everything we imagined but while the price for steak dinner says 69 on their website the actual price in the restaurant is 89$ in Toronto. The wine on offer is also very little and it’s only one glass, per guest the website does make it feel like it will be bottom less… overall we added one glass of wine each and the bill came to about $350 for two. So just be wary on the cost side if this is not the expected range: the food however was five star class and I’d go back for the salmon.

   Great atmosphere but was really disappointed with how it went. Unfortunately we made a reservation but had to still wait for a table for about 14 minutes for a table. What’s the point of a reservation? We were then tucked away in the corner and essentially ignored until a lovely server noticed that we had been waiting and came to help us. She was lovely but as a past server I felt bad that the drinks took so long at the bar. We waiting for a bottled beer and a glass of Prosecco for about 12 minutes. Unfortunately with the price and hype of the place , it didn’t meet expectations, a $200 was very subpar in terms of the meal as well. I expected things to melt in my mouth . Sorry guys :(

   Its loud , music is . So if your looking for a quiet intimate place to have conversations, this is not the place. That being said the food is off the charts , wine , cocktails fantastic , service great.

   While the overall experience was excellent, as it always is at STK, the lady who served us had such a naturally pleasant and helpful way about her that it made our visit that much better.

   Felt rushed by service. Plates were cleared very quickly. As soon as a fork was dropped we were asked if they could take it. Maybe next time allow us to sit back and relax - as a young guy it was an expensive meal that was great food wise but we weren't able to enjoy it like other steakhouses. Got in at 7:30 and was out by just past 8:15. I would understand if the restaurant was busier but it wasn't. I was hoping to stay a bit longer but I guess they figured I wasn't going to spend more and to be frank with the rush feel I did not feel inclined even though I had previously intended. Very disappointing and in my particular experience this rush left me with the impression that the value for money wasn't there.

   ⸻ We tried this restaurant for the first time, arriving around 9 PM for dinner. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The music was extremely loud — more suited to a nightclub than a restaurant — making conversation difficult. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty (only about four tables were occupied), service was very slow. We had to flag someone down just to place our order. While the appetizer arrived quickly, there was nearly an hour-long wait for the main courses. By 11 PM, our food still hadn’t arrived, and we were close to asking for it to be packed to go. The atmosphere felt odd — an almost empty dining room with deafening music — and the service didn’t match the setting or expectations. When we left, only one table remained. As for the food, it was just average in taste but definitely overpriced. Sadly, not an experience we would return for.

   Dining at STK Toronto was an absolute pleasure! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch, and a special shoutout goes to Coco for making our evening so enjoyable. We started with the calamari, which my kids declared the best they've ever had – a big win! For our main course, the Porterhouse steak was cooked exactly as requested (medium) and was incredibly flavorful. The sides we chose – the macaroni and cheese and the truffle fries – were the perfect accompaniments and truly elevated the meal. Kudos to the Chef and the entire team at STK Toronto for a flawlessly executed dining experience. If you're looking for a fantastic steakhouse in Toronto, I highly recommend giving this spot a try!

    I hosted a birthday for my friend here. The food was pretty good but the service was awful. We were there for 4 hours because the service was so slow. Myself and my friends had to get up multiple times to go find our server and ask for another drink or to place our orders. We also were originally charged a $5 per person fee for cake service which was fine, however they brought out the cake with sparklers then left it sitting on the table for over 20 minutes before taking it back to cut it which also took over 20 minutes. We finished eating dinner at 9:30 but didn’t leave until after 11 because the cake service and bills took so long. I am a server and usually have a lot of patience and compassion for servers however this was probably some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced especially on a slow Tuesday evening. At a cheap restaurant this would be whatever but when we all payed over $150 for our meals we should be getting good service. I felt that due to the automatic 18% gratuity for a ‘large” party (11 people) the staff did not do their job as they had already earned their commission without having to perform. The potential is there but when I have to walk out multiple times to get our server and find her on her phone, I am not compassionate anymore. I will not be booking a party here again to say the least.
