Food was very well presented and tasty. It was not foodie food but something that will impress a very wide range of people, kind of like food on a cruise ship. It's a good fit for a high end casino restaurant. I found it a bit expensive by comparison to the same thing in Seattle. The casino logistics are a bit flawed. There are no stairs to bypass long lines for the very slow elevators to and from the parking garage. The restaurant has only one stall for each gender creating time consuming lines to use the restaurant restroom. The cigar bar was similarily under-sized. It seems the planners did not use prevailing math to size capacities with demand.

Our first time to Snoqualmie Casino where Terra Vista is located. Service was very prompt and friendly. Food portions were small but surprisingly filling. Expensive but worth every penny. Great place for a special occasion. Suggest going during daylight to take advantage of the mountain views. We will, for sure, be back. Thank you Terra Vista!!

Service and Food both above expectation. Menu a little difficult to read for a average person like myself. People who work there are all over it though with helping you understand. Looking at the menu almost made think NO but I am so glad I said YES and went with the filet. It is the type that melts in your mouth and some of the appetizers are great. All areas of the experience were better than I expected.

The service and ambiance is great. We have dined at Terra Vista twice and we have to say that you have a long way to go. We do not feel that your chefs can live up to your menu. The actual menu is fine but the food is not what you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. Also, we really miss some good rustic bread instead of the sweet (wonderbread) rolls. And REAL butter instead of the whipped margerine like butter.

  • The scenic view is not available
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 1/10/2009
The scenic view is not available during the open hours, unfortunately, until Daylight Savings Time, or until they open for lunch. The menu was interesting and offered creative fare leaning towards local and organic. I found the cauliflower and saffron risotto inedible, I am sorry to say, and it was offered with several of the red meat dishes. The meal was lovely, but I am also sorry to say that it was not worth the high prices. I think they need to rework the prices for the North Bend, WA area. I can get a truely great meal in New York and other major cities for the same price. This meal was good, but not great. We also noted that the chairs did not move well on the carpeting and it made for a difficult seating fiasco.

My husband, friends and myself had a very memorable evening here!! Our waiter, Steven, was one of the most proffessional, attentive servers I have ever encountered! He was constantly coming to our table, smiling, giving information and taking questions. Brought us outstanding food, and excellent wine suggestions. Our experience at Terra Vista just about made up for the $8000 that I lost in the casino. Lol- we will certainly be going there again. Lucky to have such an exceptional restaurant with mountain views only a half hour drive from Seattle. Do not miss an opportunity to dine here!!

My husband and I had a wonderful meal and the service was excellent. It has the air of a 'special occasion' setting with a very comfortable 'at home' feel. The menu is surprising, eclectic yet still has the NW menu expectations you would expect at Snoqualmie. Prices are a bit higher than I had thought, but there are enough options for any budget which I feel is appropriate in this recent economy. Overall a very good meal, good service, good martini's and we will be back for more ~ Barb & Allen Hovsepian

The only concern we had regarding your facility is the casino ability in snow removal. We had a extremely difficult time trying to drive up your steep street from the parking lot. I realize weather challenges are beyond your control. The casino needs to reassess it's snow removal plan for future upcoming storms.

While the food was good, the portions in relation to price was a bit ridiculous. The chocolate cake dessert for $9 was a tiny piece 1 1/2 inches square and about 1 inch high. It looked so funny on the plate we had to take a picture with a look of wonderment on our friends face. The sample appetizer they gave each of us was a tiny 1/4 inch cube of potatoe with 2 tiny caviar eggs on top. Again, it almost looked ridiculous. Food and wine were pricey. One last thing, getting our food was slow.

I entertained my wife and two other family members at Terra Vista, but after doing so, I feel compelled to coin a new phrase: The McDonalds Effect. This is when your portions are so small and the bill is so big, you end up going to McDonalds later in the evening because you're still hungry and now broke. Terra Vista could and should be a real gem in the growing, yet underserved Snoqualmie / North Bend area. It has a warm, beautifully appointed dining area with a distinctive Northwest feel. The large windows and deck have a spectacular view of Mount Si. The small portions, excessive prices and slow service created a feeling of pretentiousness absent of any value, except the setting. Save your money for the slot machines.

  • Our TerraVista dining experience
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 12/24/2008
Our TerraVista dining experience was enjoyable from a service and ambiance standpoint. Our servers were very thoughtful and did not "push" alcohol, appreciated because of our need to drive carefully back to Seattle in the dark snowy weather. It is a lovely restaurant that provides a fine dining experience not unlike some of the newer casinos in Las Vegas. Attention to detail, excellent presentation of dishes, and thoughtful service were definitely the highlights of our experience. There were several items that we ordered that seemed to have suffered, perhaps, from the slow business evening.....the shortribs were very dry, as were the accompaniments with the duck. But we would certainly return to enjoy another special evening!

I heard that the Terra Vista was supposed to be a great french style restaurant and was anxious to try it. The restaurant itself has very view nice roomy booths, beautiful table settings and a nice ambiance. The food was outstanding and is beautifully presented. We had a few appetizers, one the steak tartare, it was the best I've ever had. The Ceasar salad was crisp, dressing delicious, and the leaves were wrapped in parmesan crisps. For my main I had the organic Delmonico steak and although it was tad overcooked it was absolutely delicious with truffle fries. Overall this a east side jewel. I plan to be back soon and will bring guests.

Service was exceptional. Our waiter Donald was very attentive and personable. He explained everything. However. The portions were very small and the prices were very high. My wife and I spent almost $200 for dinner and left still hungry. Next time we will go to The Keg in Factoria or Black Angus in Bellevue before journeying to Snoqualmie. I was looking forward to a nice steak with a baked potatoe and salad. The bright spot was the view and the great service.

Considering the price point and the location in a smokey casino this restaurant is going to have a hard time being the fancy place it wants to be. Although it did not seem to be hurting for business. The menu has way too many words on it that need to be explained. I don't need to be talked down to by a menu. The food had some problems and the staff was more than accomodating and friendly, but when you are paying $44 for an entre the waiter should know how to pronouce amuse bouche.

The food was excellent but food service was a little slow and too frequent... if that makes sense. Too many table questions but not fast service. Also our table was close to the kitchen, so there were many wait staff walking by frequently. Overall it was a great experience and the Delmonico steak was awesome! Drinks were great too! Wonderful addition for Snoqualmie. The menu needs some work - but we went just a couple of weeks after the restaurant opened. It was awesome finding John Sheard at the restaurant - he is a long time friend. Any restaurant that John is affiliated with is always a success! His knowledge of wine and food is second to none - and he remembers customers names and preferences - even after he's only met them once!
