The food was good but it took a total of 2 hours for the 3 of us to have dinner. The waiter said there was a mix-up in the kitchen but even so, he didn't check on us for long stretches of time. Because we had theatre tickets, we were conscious of the time and had to rush through dessert and coffee.

We sat in the bar section and it was too loud. We could not hear to talk. Next time I would request the dining room. I thought the food was good but not as good as it should have been for the price. Our waiter, Joshua, was excellent!!!!!

I very much enjoyed my visit to Harry's. The outdoor dining experience was lovely, we got to watch all of the lunchtime activity around the waterfront and saw beautiful boats sailing by... The only slight complaint I have is that every so often I felt like we had been forgotten outside by the waitstaff. It seemed that just as I would begin to wonder, they would show up and be attentive for a while. Other than that, it was a superb dining experience for me! My meal was delicious and the other meals that I tasted were also quite nice. I will definitely be back.

Very good food and wine list. Service was off. Ordered oysters, which were very good, however took a long time to get. My collegue ordered soup and the soup arrived quickly. He was finished his soup before the oysters arrived. Additionally, the entrees both arrived before I finished my oysters.

We have chosen Harry's in the past to meet as a halfway point with friends. This time was not enjoyable. The room was very COLD and we got no cooperation with either the waiter nor the manager. We ate with jackets on! The chicken ordered by 3 out of 4 of us was very salty. The shrimp cocktail (at $2.50 a piece!) were medium size and very mushy. Some items were taken off the bill but that is not what we were looking for. We much rather would have enjoyed our meal. Previous trips were very satisfactory and that's why we've returned. Not this time!

We thought the service was awful. The waitress put other peoples food on my check. She took her cash tip while we were still sitting at the table. It was my sisters birthday and never brought anything out. The hostess had on pants that were so long they were allover the floor. And they were very dirty. I used to love this place. I feel however it might be going down hill.

The table location I requested was not available when we arrived but they said they had a table in the bar area that looked out onto the river. What they didn't tell us was that it was right next to the bar so we had to put up with a group of people standing within inches of our table all night. At one point I had to ask a gentleman to move because he actually was leaning against the back of my wife's seat. Also the kitchen made a mistake when preparing our dinners....my wife ordered her filet rare and I ordered my steak medium rare and when they were brought to the table her's was medium rare and mine was rare. Our waiter, Max, did tell the manager about the way our meat had been cooked and the manager did come over to the table.

I told the waiter that I was interested in a brothy (not creamy) soup, and he recommended the Conche chowder. It was delicious, but the bowl contained only 2 oz of broth at most. Such a small portion looked ridiculous in a large bowl and is too little quantity for $7.

All staff members I've dealt with are good...checking in frequently and are courteous. However, none seem to "take it to the next leve" -- an extra level of warmth or dialogue that "clicks." Usually that's okay with business lunches but it may help is some instances. An intended part of the design, but I don't (and other guests have commented as well) like the open view of the kitchen.

This was my first visit to the Harrys seafood. The service was outstanding at both the bar and table. The bar tender pleasantly replaced a drink that I was not satisfied with, she was very helpful in my next selection. The server was very knowledgable about the menu. The food was suprisingly delicious. I was completely impressed. Overall one of the best restuarants that I have been to in years! I will tell my friends and visit more frequently!

Whether enjoying the oyster and appetizer specials for happy hour or sitting in the dining room for a meal, the experience cannot be beat. Excellent atmosphere both inside and out. Among my favorite dishes are the ceviche, tuna entree, and the truffle cupcake. Delicious!

The food preparation was creative and beautifully executed. The ceviche appetizer included an item not often used in this style of "cooking" - oysters! The scallop ceviche had a wonderful blend of flavors. The soft shell crab was possibly the best version we've ever had (and we've had a lt - it's my wife's favorite). The buttermilk coating was crisp and light, and the meat was succulent and tasty. The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive. Excellent!

Wonderfully-surprising tastes from creative menu choices. Flavorful martinis. Carrot soup had a very clean taste. Lobster dumplings - had to order another one after the first was gone. Beats are a nice touch. Fish very fresh. Ice-cream: Cappachino served too cold, and plain - believe it or not, portion was too big. Service - they were busy, but o.k. A mixup - brought two portions of fish, but they straightened it out. A nice birthday candle in the Creme Brulee.

Harry's was wonderful. We've been to Harry's Seafood multiple times and each and every time, the food was wonderful. Service was excellent. Food was simply outstanding. We had the lobster dumplings as an appetizer. Evidently they just added these apps to the permanent menu (it used to be a special app). They were unbelievable - delicate yet flavorful. It was my birthday and the server brought my dessert on a plate that had "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate. It was a nice touch. Highly recommend Harry's for fresh seafood.

The only place I have ever had to send back an entree THREE times--1)cold; 2)overcooked; 3)undercooked. I finally got an edible entree when the other 3 people in my party (2 of whom also had to send back the first serving because it was too cold) were finished their meals. I also was brought top-shelf wine when I ordered house wine. Spoke to the MOD. But only after a very vocal complaint was any accomodation made. They finally comped my entree and my wine. That action should have been taken after THREE failures to bring an acceptable entree. And... this had once been my favorite restaurant in Wilmington.
