Dinner was fantastic. When we entered we noticed the main room was a bit loud and asked to be sat toward the front as it seemed a bit more quiet. The hostess then offered us to sit in a side room that sat approx 10 people...it was so lovely and we could hear each other through the entire wonderful dinner. Wine the by glass selection was nice too.

We only had a overnight stay but I booked this on open table and was really happy I did. The girl's loved it. The food was fabulous and our waiter was very accommodating. We will certainly go back again. We also went to Happy Hour there and the appetizers at the bar were delicious. Kudo's to all.

Located inside the Taj Mahal casino & within Il Mulino. It is nicely appointed and the staff is very friendly, welcoming & knowledgeable of the menu. It is the Tratoria (you can order from either menu) but still on the expensive side. We opted for the prix fix menu which includes a choice of an appetizer, entree & dessert for $39.00. We both had the Lentil soup which was very good, the Salmon which was cooked perfectly (doesn't come with anything though) & cannoli's for dessert. They were good but their ricotta cheesecake is better (our server brought us a sample). Our server also brought us a complimentary lemoncello which was very nice. He was a good server and very attentive to our needs.

He discreatly asked for his tip to be in the form of cash and extened us an invitation to see him as a server at another casino. The salad special was not what it was explained to be and the server said he only serves it he doesn't make it......

This was the 3rd time coming to this restaurant. The first 2 times was great. So for the 3rd time I decided to spend my dinner there. What a horrible experience I had. Me and my girlfriend were seated in a side room next to a a party of about 15 people who werevery loud. I didn't mind that too much. I ordered chicken parmigiana because I had it the time before that and it was delicious. It took about 40 minutes for us to get our dinner and what I got was a round piece of something that smelt fishy and did not look like the meal I had once before. I cut it open and showed it to my girlfriend and she even said it was not chicken. I call over the waitress and asked her how can this be chicken. She said they are trying something new. No thanks!

The food was good. Did it blow me away? No. But I would definitely go back. I don't do the fine dining thing very often, because when I do, I'm often left slightly disappointed. Maybe my expectations are too high, but then again, they should be. In my opinion, if I'm spending nearly $200 for a meal, with tip, I want to be wowed. What I gather, from most of my fine dining experience, is that I'm paying more for the restaurant and the service than the food. If that is the case, ok, then I'm getting my money's worth, probably. The restaurant was nice. Very elegant and charming. A little romantic. The service was exceptional! Our server was Jeff. Highly recommend asking for him. Overall, a good experience and would return.
