I love the relaxed feel of this place - sat in the library – like a comfortable living room. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The scallops were amazing. The apple crumble was delicious and a great topping to a marvelous meal. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable.

The food was exceptional. Bay Scallops were the best I've had and my date said the Kobe beef melted in her mouth. You won't be disappointed.

We had dinner at Lambert's Cove on my husband's birthday, the night before Thanksgiving. This was one of the best meals we've experienced! I had the amazing Wagyu Beef and my husband had roast chicken with waffles, sharing the Olive Oil lemon Cake for dessert. All superb, and at a price that's moderate for the Vineyard. We had a long wait, both for the main course and for dessert--which was a little odd as because of the date we were the only people in the restaurant. But the food was well worth the wait.

Ate dinner here while visiting the Vineyard. Caesar salad was fresh but a little bland. Our scallop entree was quite delicious and very well presented. The 2 sisters who waited on us couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating.

The Host and the staff couldn't have been more cordial. The surroundings were beautiful. The wine and entrees were wonderful. The only thing I was a bit disappointed in was the white peach salad, though expertly prepared, was a bit bland. Otherwise a fantastic meal including dessert. Would classify this as a special occasion spot as it is a little pricey. Plan to return here again to be sure.

Slow, but not unacceptable service when we arrived for 6:45pm dinner. Long time between appetizer and entree. However, because the staff was familiar with the gluten-containing ingredients of the menu items, the previously-mentioned sins are forgiven.

We spend a week on the Vineyard every year & Lambert's Cove is a must. The setting and interior are terrific. If you want a place where you will say "Wow" upon tasting nearly every dish, this is it, including starters, mains, and desserts. The cuisine is creative, innovative, & great-tasting. Mgmt. & staff are very warm and welcoming and the setting, off in the woods, is lovely. Like many MV restaurants, it is fairly expensive, but it's well worth it. They used to be BYOB, but recently got a license. We've only had one wine so far (an excellent Pinot Grigio), but the list looks very good & very reasonably priced. Use a GPS or map in advance, because it's easy to get lost on Lambert's Cove Road if you're not familiar with it.

Wonderful country inn in a peaceful setting. Food was excellent (especially the new duck with root vegetables). Enough creativity to keep it interesting but not over the top with weird ingredients or too many flavors in one dish. Nice ambiance...quiet conversation, comfortable seating, pleasant views over garden and pool

A beautiful ending to a wonderful stay at Lambert's Cove Inn. The service was great, variety was just enough, liked the local fruits, vegetables and seafood offered on the menu. A nice addition to be able to order a glass of your favorite libation! Although we are off islanders, it was a treat to re-introduce our friend who lives on island, to the pleasure of dining at this secluded culinary gem!

Since we were staying there we took advantage of a late reservation and took a drive before dinner on the island, upon arriving back at the inn I must say things were a little chaotic. The hostess looked somewhat overwhelmed and seated us in a room and offered us a glass of wine which unfornately never came. It is customary for guests to be seated prior to dinner but as I mentioned it appeared the place was a little overwhelmed. However, once we were seated things turned around quickly, our server (name?) was awesome, for a recent college grad knew exactly when to interject and when to leave us alone..charming young man. Other than the fluke being a little dry, my wife's beef was perfect! Max is truly a talented chef...this place is a gem

My wife and I visited Lambert's Cove while vacationing on the Vineyard last week. A nice drive on an unpaved road through the woods leads you to the Inn which is tucked away in a nice setting. The Inn has two very nice sitting rooms just incase you have to wait for your table, which we did, but only for 10 minutes. The ambience is not fully romantic as there are 2 eating areas, one in what appears to be the library and the other in a larger room with views of the grounds. We sat in the Library but would recommend sitting by a window with a view. The food is excellent and the staff friendly. My only complaint would be that the staff wasnt attentive enough. For example, if my water or wine glass run dry I shouldn't have to ask for a refill.

The Lambert's Cove in spent a lot of money fixing their dining facility; much more expansive compared to the cozy area that was there before. In the process, they took away a lovely outdoor deck and put in a pool (an oversized bath). The food at the Inn is not quite as good as it used to be, and it was only mediocre to begin with. The Caesar salad was not prepared at the table and the dressing seemed to come from a bottle. The lettuce was not the freshest. A steak ordered medium came out very rare and had to be returned. The pancake and chicken was weird. The pancake was filled with chopped liver and OK, for a few bites until the taste overwhelmed the senses. The chicken was the size of a small squab, with barely no meat. Cold cappuccino.

Almost a perfect restaurant. Food was excellent. Every course was outstanding. Ambiance was also very nice with scenic views and a very nice cozy dining area. BUT WHY THE RUSH??? Service is one thing, but filling water glasses and wine glasses every every sip is not service, it is annoying! then taking dinner plates from one diner while other is still eating? and finally, desert menus presented while plates are being cleared and still have some wine to finish! ( they just got a wine/beer license) Oh and really finally, present us with the bill with coffee, but before desert was served. We get the message - if you want us out that fast, - we wont trouble you by coming back!!!

We went back to this place after about 7 years as the BYOBs dwindle on the island due to the passing of alcohol-friendly legislation in Tisbury and West Tisbury. This will change our favorite island forever, but alas, I digress. This meal was outstanding. Nice ambiance, wonderfully prepared food and prompt attentive service. Why not a 5? Yvon, or server, was very good, but not engaging or friendly..almost robot-like. Also, tell your customers when you call them to reconfirm the reservation that there is corkage fee. Reminded me that it was BYOB, but forgot that part. So onto the food as this was a positive experience!! For starters we had an arugula and bacon salad and this amazing cauliflower soup with House Purple Potato Chips, Whit

A lovely place...Justin was very welcoming and convincing with his praise of a special of apricots which while good wasn't the rave that his praise merited. Nevertheless, our meal was very good, service excellent and the setting in the back room very romantic and sosphicated with its dark and rich colors. The steak I ordered was outstanding and the peach cobbler very, very good. It's a BYOB place so that is helpful but expect to spend a serious amount of money for some very serious food. Overall, it is very worthwhile.
