A completely perfect dining experience was destroyed when my server, in front of my date, informed us they would not honor the Passport card. I was mortified. This was especially frustrating since I specifically mentioned in the Opentable notes PLEASE DO NOT MENTION PASSPORT CARD AT THE TABLE. To compound my frustration. I even called the day before to instruct the hostess, PLEASE DO NOT MENTION PASSPORT CARD AT THE TABLE. Moreover, the second entree should have been honored. When I called back to express my frustration and humiliation I received no satisfaction. I use to frequent all the Cohn restaurants this practice will abruptly end. FYI: This is the first and last time I use Passport.

A great special monte cristo made with prosciutto and brea....the hangar streak Benedict had dry bernaise sauce but they comped that meal even though I said it wasn't necessary. I always pay for extra avocado on my Benedict too. I have enjoyed the Benedict 4 times in the past...this was an off day.

This restaurant is in a fantastic location. We sat on the patio right by a window and enjoyed the ocean breezes coming through the window, and watching the people go by. The restaurant is lovely, comfortable and clean. My friend ordered the lobster roll and said it was very good. I ordered the 333 Market Salad. The greens were fresh and crisp, the dressing was light and tasty. The only problem was the chicken was dry, which surprised me because I have always enjoyed excellent meals at Cohn Restaurants. The service was not quite as efficient as I expected, but very friendly. They may have been short handed. All in all it was a very nice experience and we'll go back.

We had a nice night out. Service was good but the food was not. Our meals came out before our appetizer. It was very apparent they sat under the warmer till we got them back. The sushi roll app was good. My filet was cooked perfectly on the half that hadn't been sitting under the warmer. Potatoes tasted instant. Steak was super salty. My daughter got seated ahi. Way over salted and had a funny taste. Her rice was crunchy and bol choy was so mushy and salty it was inedible. Dessert was entirely forgettable. We had a great server and enjoyed our night out, but would not go back here again.

There were four of us for dinner, and we sat in a comfortable raised booth with a great view of the pier scene. The service was excellent as were the specialty drinks. I loved my peach bellini like martini. Three of us ordered fish dishes and had no complaints. My husband said his steak was the best he has had at any restaurant, and he wants to go back just for that. We will definitely return when in the area.

My brother and I took our Mother out for an early Mother's Day lunch. We ordered three appetizers: Scallop, White Fish, Shrimp & Calamari Ceviche, Coastal Clam Chowder, and the Kobe Beef Potstickers. Don't waste your money on the Potstickers. Main courses: My brothered ordered the Hanger Steak Benedict-medium rare. No issues, everything was cooked to perfection. I ordered the Grilled Salmon & Spinach Salad. It was served RAW...not rare...RAW. My Mom ordered the Peppercorn Demi & Blue Cheese Crusted 333 Filet Duo. BOTH steaks were ordered "MEDIUM". They both were served RAW...not rare, RAW. The plate was also sent back. The second time the dish was served...2 new steaks that were RAW (again). The 3rd time served, it was cooked properly.

We had a reservation for a table for 2 on the patio for sunset dinner on a Friday night. This was a supposed to be a special anniversary dinner. We were seated on time at a table on the patio, crammed next to a wall. Long story short, we left after an hour since our waitress never came and took our dinner order. Leisurely service is one thing, being ignored is another! We ate our salads (which were tasty), drank part of our bottle of wine and took the rest in a bag. $58 for 2 salads and a bottle of wine (after a discount I had was applied). Been here before - know that they can do better.

Went back again the next evening for some appetizers and drinks and even at the bar, had a great time! Will be back again - very soon! It's a must go to restaurant and the view is great!

Delicious lunch for two: the Maine lobster roll (she) and the catch-of-the-day sandwich--yellowtail (he). We have never yet been disappointed in the quality and presentation of the food at any of the Cohn restaurants. After this first visit we would classify 333 Pacific as "upscale casual" -- clean, comfortable and casual on the semi-enclosed outdoor terrace. Our server was a waiter-in-training, but his competent mentor ensured that our experience did not suffer. We were surprised at how long it took to prepare our food. Not a problem for us, since we had anticipated a leisurely lunch, but be forewarned: allow plenty of time! And the concrete floor, glass walls and noisy traffic (motorcycles!) made the terrace very noisy.

The view was beautiful and the food was good but not exceptional. My husband's steak was quite dry and it was part of the special fixed menu. Though the chocolate goat cheese panne cotta was delicious. The service was awkward. Our server was not very engaging, he almost seemed uncomfortable and unsure when to approach us in the beginning. After the appetizer course, they took away our plates and silverware BUT they forgot to give us new silverware for our salads. We had to wait until our server appeared to ask for new silverware. Honestly, I'm not sure if I would recommend this restaurant to my friends. We were quite disappointed since we had heard such great things about it.

It was dinner for 4 of us that had just been married that day. The dinner was in celebration of our marriages. The service was great and the food was delicious. But were charged for "Congrats" desserts that we didn't order. The desserts were brought to us as if they were a gesture of the restaurant in celebration of our marriages, which we were most appreciative of. But realized the next day that we were charged $5 each for the desserts. It's not the money, but just the principle!

Oceanside was new to us and the restaurant had better than average food. Very noisy at the front bar area, but quieter in the back inside. The terrace with the best views over the ocean (it is opposite the Oceanside pier) was also probabky quieter but was full when we arrived. a very busy "in" place to meet. I would really recommend it.

Really great food, gourmet quality. Romantic and beautiful. And about 100 different kinds of vodka from all over the world. I tasted several and thoroughly enjoyed myself. My only complaint is that they don't keep the vodka in the freezer, so if you want it chilled, they run it through ice cubes and it gets watered down. After a couple like that, I asked them to put my next 2 samples in the freezer until I was ready for them.

    Dined on 4/19/2014
We wanted a place half way between Irvine and Coronado to meet relatives for brunch. 333 Pacific is the perfect spot. The glassed in "outdoor" patio with the great Ocean view is just wonderful. The service is so attentive and the food was really awesome. I chose a dish that is often very difficult to achieve since it is a poached egg and steak Benedict. The steak was cooked medium rare as I asked and the poached eggs were hot and perfectly cooked. The Bearnaise sauce was clearly home made and not reconstituted from a powder. The New England lobster sandwich had an unbelievable portion of lobster meat. Though I am unable to eat shell fish, my husband said that his crab hash was delicious. Great place. We will return.

My wife and I consider ourselves 'foodies' so when we look for a restaurant we are looking for creativity but excellent food. Simple menus with food done well, atmosphere , and excellent service. 333 provided all of that. We started with the mussels ( sinfully good!) and shared a mixed green salad. As our main course we tried the 333 trio - excellent! The Mac & cheese was great. The crab zucchini hash was one of the best dishes I have ever had (you better like garlic though!). We recommend the White Tiger (her) and Heat Wave (him) cocktails. We had great views of the sunset, our waiter was excellent and definitely made great recommendations. All in all, a great experience. Thank you!
