The menu was creative, food excellent, service attentive. Not an inexpensive restaurant but worth every penny. Camden is a great place to visit and Natalie's is the gem. We had the seven course menu with a wine pairing. We were able to enjoy excellent pairings with a blend of French, California, and local wines. Every course was a culinary surprise - the chef's creations were a joy.

We ordered the 4 course lobster dinner with the wine pairing. The sommelier chose a thoughtful selection of wines and surprisingly a sake to compliment the Yuzu infused dese rt. It was an excellent choice. The service was kabukiesque- subtle, knowledgeable and well trained. A true gem on the Maine Coast. We will be back!

The best restaurant we have EVER been to, and we travel! Elegant and lovely, without being stuffy or pompous. This is still Maine, after all. :) Wonderful menu, food, and wine. The service was incredible, with great communication among the team. We sat on the porch overlooking Mt. Battie and the harbor. Intimate, beautiful, and so SO delicious. Just an incredibly memorable evening. Perfect in every detail.

We could not have been more pleased with our experience at Natalie's. We enjoyed a 3-course tasting menu, but with all extra dishes it was more like a 6-course. We were able to select from many interesting choices per course and everything was refined and beautifully plated. The service was beyond excellent something you just don't experience anymore. Natalie's is by far the best dining experience in Maine. Kudos!

If you're in Camden, Maine this is a place that is not to be missed. We had the prix fixe dinner with wine pairing. Not only was the food delectable but each course's wine complemented and highlighted the food it was served with. They also offer a chef's tasting menu which we will definitely try on our next trip.

  • THE Restaurant in Camden

Do not be misled into going to the generic restaurants on the main drag or the waterfront. If you are staying within driving distance of Camden for two or more days, make sure you eat at Natalie's at least twice: one for the Chef's menu and one for a la carte. Clearly, the new chef has picked up from where the previous one left and incorporated his own identity into the restaurant. Service is highly professional without being stuffy and the wine list offers many choices to complement the food. One of the best restaurants we have eaten in Maine and in the USA. Kudos to the owners of the Inn as well for maintaining such high standards...

After a very disappointing dinner at Primo, we were slightly hesitant to spend another night at a 'highly' rated restaurant in the area. We are so glad that we didn't cancel our reservation. Natalie's is sensational, sophisticated, trendsetting, fine dining and all about guest experience. What were they thinking at the Beard House when they gave Primo an award, have they ever considered Natalie's? We are members of the Beard House and will surely inform them about both experiences. Congratulation to everyone at Natalie's for creating such an unique dining experience. Clearly the in-crowed knows where to go, as we run into the famous Star Wars and Toy Story producer, who was a guest at the inn, part of the Camden Harbour Inn operation.

Though the food was exquisite the quantity served at each course was bizarrely tiny. At well over $300 dollars for three diners we felt ripped off and hungry after three hours of very tiny selections. Totally pretentious and left us feeling duped. We won't return despite bring local to Natalie's. .

We recently celebrated our anniversary at Natalie's. The inn is lovely with nicely decorated. There is a limited but beautiful view of the bay and harbor. The inn is on a hill and has nice gardens and a great porch. If the weather had permitted, it would have been nice to dine outside. The staff is very attentive and carefully describes the offerings. The menu is interesting and has a nice variety of choices. We chose the three course meal and had duck and lamb chop as our main course. Both were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The chef offered several amuse-bouche between the entrees. These were only ok and perhaps a bit pretentious. At one point we had to choose salt to flavor our butter. I prefer unsalted butter. An unecessary exercise.

This was a surprise return trip to Natalie's to celebrate my 55th birthday and as usual they did not disappoint. Mere words cannot describe the experience and that is appropriate as it is not just dinner out. It is a "dining experience' second to none. The impeccable attention to detail in every aspect of your evening is worthy of my 5 star rating. From the moment you walk in you are treated to an elegance and style that is hard to find at that level these days. Highly recommended!

This was my first experience with a five course "blind tasting". How wonderful to just relax and let someone else decide what I was eating! Every course was a surprise in and of itself. A surprise because you didn't know what was coming next and also because you couldn't believe how wonderful it all tasted! It was our 20th anniversary and the ambience was spectacular (dimly lit enough to be romantic and lit enough to appreciate the visual beauty of everything being served). As we were also staying at the hotel (Camden Harbour Inn) in which the restaurant resides, we also experienced breakfast at Natalie's for two mornings. The service, food and overall experienc was perfection at both meals!

Ordered prix fixe 3 course meal ($68). The chef sends out lots of goodies in between courses that really make the dining special. I am a hearty eater and walked out full, which might not have been the case without the chef's gifts. Waitstaff was neither absent nor doting, but could have watched the tables and had better info from the kitchen. Also, with food at a gourmet caliber, I like the staff to tell me about what I am eating and where it comes from, especially if I ask. The foie gras with quail egg was dry. The bronzino was excellent. Ginger souffle with homemade maple ice cream exceptional. It was all very good, but just a little bit was missing from the service and food quality that might have made the dining exceptional
