It was a birthday dinner for my girlfriend. I had specified that I wanted an outdoor table and had arranged for champagne and cake. The staff did not miss a beat. They were friendly, attentive. Really, 5 five quality! I was very pleased.

While the food was good, the service was horrendous! Our waitress, in her twenties seemed as though she was from another planet! It wasn't a languagae barrier; English was her only languagae. If it wasn't, I'd cut her a lot of slack ... So, how do you not know what whole wheat bread is? After bringing us a basket of white bread, I asked her if they had any healthier types. She asked, "What do you mean?" I said, like whole wheat, whole grain or multigrain---well, anything not white. She said she didn't know. Then, she came back to our table abaout 4 times asking what I meant! Finally, she came back and brought us the same white bread! She then, asked what I meant agaian! I thought that we were on Candid Camera!

Although we found the food quite tasty, the portions were ridiculously small. We usually don't order dessert, but we each ordered and finished a dessert. I can't remember the last time I was hungry after finishing a meal at a restaurant, and if I order an appetizer and/or salad, it often leaves me unpleasantly full. Alas, I will not recommend this restaurant because I think the value isn't there for the money. The prices are not unreasonable for an adequate meal which this definitely was not.

Great dining experience. Wouldn't suggest eating outside for dinner with all the little nats flying around, so we moved inside. Food was great. Disappointed 2 of the desserts were not available that night from the menu. Will go back and try again.

This was not at all nearly a nice place as the website would have you believe... it was small, dark, and empty. Fortunately we went next door and sat outside at Dante, which was quite pleasant.

Art Bar looks better in the pictures than in reality. However, window tables have a great view. We actually passed on the dinner as it was not the greatest for date evening before a concert as it seemed to be the only place for young kids in the hotel. However, after the concert it was a good place for a night cap but unfortunately closes at 1 am.

When we first arrived we thought the place was a bit small. At first our waiter got both my friend's drinks wrong, but he quickly returned with the right drinks that were ordered. The food was great and desserts were yummy. The waiter was very friendly and we enjoyed the food, but I don't think I'd be returning to ArtBar.

We went for restaurant week and I don't think I would go back. My boyfriend got the lobster rolls which he said were good. I got the steak sandwich which was bad. It was overcooked. THe place was dirty and there was food all over the floor.

I went during Restaurant Week and ordered off that menu. I ordered the filet, which was not cooked to my request. The staff graciously returned it, but I think the entire plate, sides and all, were put into the oven because some of the fingerling potatoes had all the moisture cooked right out of them. Somewhat ditto for the carrots. And one of the desserts was mediocre. But the rest of the meal was terrific and the service outstanding.

The ArtBar is fine for a hotel restaurant, but unless you are actually staying at the hotel, I see no reason to go out of your way to eat there. The food was average, but the prices didn't reflect this mediocrity.

I really liked this place. My boyfriend and I went here for Valentine's day. I wasn't a huge fan of the fact that it was in a hotel, but once we were there, it really wasn't a big deal. The restaurant was also a lot smaller than I expected. And yes, as per the other reviews, the food was a bit expensive, but totally worth it! I mean-we had a bottle of wine (great prices on the wine), an appetizer, two entrees, a latte, and two complimentary chocolate covered strawberries for $100. We shared the blue cheese and walnut gnocchi as an appetizer and it was AMAZING! I really can't say enough about it. My entree was delicious as was my boyfriends. The service was also awesome-extremely friendly waiter. Plus, the art on the walls was great

The food came out cold so I was a bit disappointed. I have a feeling it was sitting in back for a while before it got to our table because it took a long time. The cheese tray was very good but they did not know what the cheeses were (a sign that they may not have been very picky in choosing what they serve). The server was good and the atmosphere was interesting and pleasant. If I was staying in the hotel I would eat there again but probably not a restaurant I would go out of my way to visit in the future.

I have always enjoyed this small bar/restaurant, whether it was for lunch (outdoor) or dinner (indoor). A frequent visitor, I have found the waitressing staff to be consistently polite, attentive, and highly competent -- the same of which cannot be said about another restaurant located inside the same hotel. The food is decent and has more variety than one would expect from a small restaurant catering more to a hotel clientele. Valet or no valet, parking arrangement is costly & inconvenient. The artistic decor, which befits this place its name, is well appreciated by all of my dining companions. It is a slightly pricey but neat place I highly recommend for casual encounters, business meetings or special occasion for families alike.

Menu is very good. Staff is polite, but more training is needed in dish serving, table setting and cleaning. This place has relatively small tables to begin with, and an average party of 4 will easily run out of tabletop. A good waiter/waitress cannot just bring the dishes to the table without making sure that old dishes were cleared out. He/she should NOT expect the customer to clear the table so that he/she could "serve" the new dishes! It is sad that the majority of so-called "stylish" restaurants pay absolutely no attention to training their serving/busing staff to do this properly, and yet think that fancy art & decor will be sufficient to make themselves "stylish". Sorry but a restaurant whose staff can't serve properly has NO style.
