A word from Dirty Habit
Edgy, bar-centric concept from former Fifth Floor culinary and bar team features outdoor patio, rare spirits list and an innovative cocktail & wine list.
Helmed by the Fifth Floor’s Chef David Bazirgan and Bar Manager Brian Means, the new bar-centric concept plays host to a vivid social scene and creative craft cocktail menu with an emphasis on rare brown spirits. In a prime location perched five floors above the streets of the developing high-tech start-up epicenter in SOMA, Dirty Habit serves as an intimate hideaway for locals seeking inventive offerings and a sociable dining atmosphere, both inside the restaurant and on the spacious, heated outdoor patio.

They were extremely accomodating to my vegetarian needs. They were able to work out a 3 course meal, and dessert! It was fabulous. My date got 3 courses to match up with mine as well. He said the lamb was fantastic.

Disappointing. Gives the vibe of a Gary Danko or La Folie or Ame--but doesn't execute. Portions were too "precious"--almost a joke given the description of the item. Waitstaff were too busy talking among themselves--didn't check back to see how we were doing. My chicken was luke warm at best. The dining room was half full and the bar scene dead. I won't go back.

overpriced for the quality and quantity of food you receive. Food was good but not great. Many other options that I would choose over your restaurant.

The service and presentation were outstanding. The knowledge of the service staff was terrific. The food was very good, but the portions were small (I had the oxtail) and we were still a little hungry after the entree. The bread server and cheese server didn't seem to understand our questions very well so that was a bit time-consuming. We started with sparkling water and mid-way we asked to switch to tap. But they kept pouring bottled anyway and when we received the check just the water alone was $100! The husbands were not very happy about this. But we did not mention it to the server because everything else about the meal and space was lovely.

Very upscale and quiet restaurant. The food was excellent, but don't expect the pristine staff to joke around with you. They're serious about being the best!

In my humble opinion, the food, ambiance, and service does not meet expectations. My dining experience at Fifth Floor was the most expensive dining experience I have had to date (by a very small margin), yet I am compelled to state that my dining experience at Fifth Floor is not memorable - other than price - in comparison to other dining experiences in the area.

The check was not justified for the quality of the food. The apetizers were fantastic but the main courses disappointing.

Very good food -- but VERY small portions. After spending $500 for 4 - went home and ordered pizza. Then need to get over themselves ---- just because it is very good food doesn't mean that the entire course should be able to be eaten in one bite.
