Business meeting / dinner with our friends. An eclectic menu offering a wide variety of dining options for our table of six. We we're seated at the round corner table, allowing us the opportunity to discuss work, and enjoy each others company. A lobster salad appetizer was a refreshingly unexpected winter treat. Dinner options ranged from the tummy warming comfort food like meatloaf - scrumptious, crab cakes and lobster rolls. Wonderful service capped off a delightful dinner.

This restaurant was so nice, my daughter and I dined here twice just this week. Both times we had Amy as our waitress and she is just wonderful. We usually have to modify our order due to food allergies, and not only was she so kind and accommodating, she got it right without even writing it down and most of our waiters forget a thing or two. We dined on Christmas Day and thanked her for working so hard so we could enjoy a lovely lunch. The food was delicious. We had the BLT and it was so filling and good. We had the pleasure of her service again today when we met my sister and again, we enjoyed every minute. We had time for dessert today and it was well worth it! We will absolutely be back and hope to have Amy serve us every time.

Came on a busy Tuesday night, expecting to have dinner with my husband, but got stuck at work meeting. Beautiful hotel, The food was delicious and my server was so sweet and had excellent recommendations! I was truly impressed, they had a large party on the other side of the bar where my waitress was working, so I was happy to see that she was still very timely and patient with my questions even though she was busy. So many times service really lacks when the restaurant is so busy, but this place seems to have it down. Calamari was a bit too salty, but half price during happy hour and the manager did come over after I asked for the check and that shows true professionalism. Will definitely stay again next time my hubby can enjoy the food!

Went for Sunday brunch with a large group to celebrate the holidays. Good food and service for a reasonable price. Everyone enjoyed it. Only thing that would have made it better would have been to have everyone seated at one table but since we were a group of 14, we had to split up. We played "musical chairs" and swapped seats after each trip to the buffet so we could chat with everyone and made it a fun experience. I would highly recommend this location for either a special occasion brunch or just a casual get together.

A mediocre meal and service, not good value for the price. Some dishes were served lukewarm, bread was so stale as to be in edible, we did send it back and were told it would be awhile before fresh bread could be ready. Most of the entrees were not bad, they just did not live up to the menu description in flavor, preparation or presentation. The restaurant, in the hotel, was having a wedding and a rehearsal dinner that evening, so that may have had something to do with our less than satisfying experience, but we are not interested in returning.

Meet an old friend here for lunch on a Friday. It was busy but not too busy. As always, the food and services was outstanding. Both of us had a salad (Cobb & Caesar w/Salmon). Since we had to return to work after lunch we stuck with water as our drinks. The bill was $28 before tip - which we thought was very reasonable! We talked about how nice it was there and that we definitely have to meet up again there soon.

Decided to meet a special friend for a Birthday Brunch....just to enjoy a leisurely late morning. Had heard about Glenmorgan, but never been. There was an atmosphere of classic elegance, yet the place felt surprisingly casual. The show tunes and pop music played softy in the background by a superb pianist had my friend and I each interrupting each other as we tried to 'name that tune.' A spectacular selection of breakfast items, including a perfectly made omelet to order, along with heavier luncheon selections, and an amazing array of cold salads met every desire of our palates. It was just a delightful way to start the day. One slight complaint: at one point, we were left forkless, by an ever-so-gracious server, who temporarily forgot us

We were seated promptly upon arrival for our reservation. Courteous, professional and friendly service. Nice selection of breakfast, Lunch and dinner items, smoked fish, shrimp along with a carving station as well as an omelette station. Lovely desert display with fresh fruit. Each and every item I tasted was OUTSTANDING! Perfect eggs, wonderful Asian buffet, and the carving station with Beef, Ham and Turkey was tender, moist and wonderful. Reasonably priced, fit for foodies. Can't wait to go back.

This is a hotel restaurant that is fine for folks who are traveling or passing through town for a night or two. Pub greb is good and works for a Kate night or room service lite meal. The entrees etc are only ok. Sunday brunch buffet is a little nicer than average, however, we are not fond of buffets. Service quality was sporadic.

Checked in sat down. No one came to our table for 15 minutes! Out of prime rib (it was prime rib special night). We had reservation for 7pm - this was not late at night. So decided Cobb salad asked for no avacados. Salad came out 30 minutes later with avacados. Yes it was Villanova parent weekend, but this was a sad example of a restaurant.

We got to Glenmorgan @ 6:30 p.m. and waited 1.5 hours for our food. After we complained several times to the waitress, an arrogant manager finally came over and apologized and said that they "took a big hit" that night. Not our problem . . . we had a show to get to and I even wrote that in the OpenTable comments section when I made the reservation. Then, to add insult to injury, our waitress came over with dessert (like we had the time to eat it.) We told her to send it back and she said she couldn't because it "was included with two of the meals." Seriously?? She also said that the long wait for food "was not her fault." Whatever . . . we are "well done" with Glenmorgan Bar & Grill.

The food portions have been getting smaller over the last year or so. Stay away from the two-bite crab cake. Apparently they expect people to fill up on their kettle (potato) chips instead. Generally speaking, this is a good place to go if one is on a diet. The lobster roll is still worth trying...and the drinks are well made.

Dinner was okay. However, when it came time for the bill to be processed and the server was presented with a $20 check from Open Table, it took 20 minutes to get it processed and our bill paid. A manager had to be called....and I don't know what else took so long. The experience left an overall bad impression of our evening which is too bad because the service otherwise was good, and the food was decent..

This hotel restaurant has been a Sunday brunch heaven for years. The large room is filled with a huge assortment of brunch items ranging from beverages to deserts. If you don't see it, you can ask and many requests will be filled. Depending on the size of your group, you may have service people only for your table or shared with other tables. We were there for a birthday with seven people, each person was overwhelmed with the variety of choices and the total amount of food that was on display. Although the room was completely filled, we were able to have conversations without interruptions. It is expensive, but for a special occasion, it is a treat.

With 1/2 priced bar food and drinks (M-Th), nice spot to o after work. Some misses (nachos), some adequates (loaded kettle chips) so hits (wings) on the bar menu. Best item, though, is burger. Cooked to correct temp, good bun and choice of toppings, probably what they do best. Lobster roll pretty good as well (really lobster salad on bun vs Maine-style).

This is the second time within several months I have encountered service "issues," and felt embarassed for recommending the restaurant to my dining companions. Thursday night a friend and myself dining outdoors were left unattended for almost a half an hour, and I had to get up and find someone to ask for the check. A couple of months ago I made Sunday brunch reservations way in advance for a party of 8, and when we arrived they did not have a table ready for us and the abrupt unfriendly young hostess refused to push 2 tables together to accomodate us. After I complained to another staff member who looked to be a manager, he hastily put the tables together for us. It was a total embarrassment and very awkward in front of my friends.

Overall outstanding experience! Our server was Nick and he was great. Our glasses never went below half-full. Also, the food came out very quickly and was delicious. I recommend the southwestern nachos, filet mignon, and warm apple pie. A note about the apple pie: we ordered it expecting a slice, but they brought out a personal-sized whole apple pie that had been made and baked fresh for us. It was divine! This restaurant is one of my favorites and I will definitely be going back very soon!
