Dining at the Bistro was a perfect experience for a Board Of Directors Meeting. We were not rushed. Seated as requested in a location best for us. I would recommend this for any corporate board meetings and will also bring my guests as a dining experience. From opening of the door to departing, there was not one item that could be a valid complaint. I will book all of my association board of director luncheons here! Looking forward to returning to H & H.

We will definitely return to this restaurant! Although we had to wait over one half hour for our table, it was well worth it. I could understand why the group didn't want to leave once I tried the food. I LOVE that the wine is the same cost as in the Market!!! What a fabulous idea! We were able to order an excellent bottle of wine (bottles!!) because the price was so reasonable. This is defintely the place to see and be seen in The Woodlands.

Hubbell & Hudson Market & Bistro is a great find! From the food to location to the atmosphere it's the perfect place for any celebration. Best part is you can shop for what you desired at dinner right next door and the wine is sold at the market price! I definitely recommend this hot spot to everyone. I am in the hospitality business and this truly represents great service in all areas.

OUTSTANDING food. They are new and I am a food and service snob. I say this because I have high expectation for both food and service and would give the service only 4/5. The details need a little tweaking with the service for an establishment of this caliber. The food was first rate. The cold appetizer caught me of guard but my wife loved it.

The wine list is notable because the prices for the bottles are the same in the Bistro as in the Market. (GREAT IDEA!) The New Year's Eve fixed price dinner was really delicious, well-presented, and fun! The service was attentive. Our special request was a booth instead of a table. This request was honored and the booth selected for us was fabulous! We really like the food at Hubbell & Hudson and we will be back!

The Bistro is the icing on the Hubbel and Hudson cake. Combined with the market and the cooking school, Bistro rounds out any food lovers dream. Great for celebrations and quiet dinners, eating at the Bistro has been a total joy each time we've been. The 'no-markup' wine policy makes it even better (thanks guys). Our only suggestion: make sure you leave enough room for a Bistro desert!

Hubbell & Hudson has not been open very long. The inexperience of the hostess staff showed. The experience and caring of the waitstaff, however, was a delight! The menu is interesting and offers some unexpected choices. My dining companion's soup was exquisite and his Pad Thai was delicious. My salad was both lovely and tasty, but my steak arrived undercooked and then re-arrived burnt on the outside. Overall, a good experience and we'll try this restaurant again.

We have been to this new restaurant three times. The service has been earnest albeit unpolished. The food has been mixed in execution; ravioli, salon carpaccio and the salade au frisee et lsrdons were memorable while a steak with bearnaise was tough and over-powered by a too peppery bearnaise sauce and an osso buco :lasagna was dry and overly browned in the broiler. The wine list is amazingly low priced. All in all a great place and a work in progress

    Dined on 12/13/2008
Just what The Woodlands needed ... not a chain! The grill menu is just a great concept ... as opposed to competitors, your steak comes with sides automatically -- and a great selection. Most notable of all, the wines are priced in an unheard of manner: at the same price as you would purchase them off the shelf from the adjoining market ... so you can spend $40 or $50 and get what elsewhere would cost $100 - $150! Service is just great.
