Great salads, meatballs and bronzino. Bad veal parm; it was breaded (rather than sautéed) over-cooked, over-cheesed and ridiculously thin. Service was attentive initially but non-existent near end. Started with drinks indoors; good atmosphere. Dined outside; setting is lovely.

The appetizer platter was fantastic. Meats and cheeses with olives, artichoke hearts, eggplant and peppers. Only negative, the bread basket should have been replenished. All four meals were plentiful, well presented and delicious. We will be back despite the parking issues.

Stopped in for lunch with my wife and daughter. Food is elegant, well proportioned and fairly priced. Started with an outstanding dirty martini, bruscetta and flash fried calamari. Lobster ravioli was luscious and filling, my daughter had three shells from heaven...and they were! Some of the best food in Annapolis, I am never disappointed. Stop in when you want to impress someone with an excellent dining experience. Sit outside by the fountain if the weather is nice!

We love this resturant. In the Spring, Summer, and Fall there is usually live music outside, which keeps our kids occupied and increases the overall dining experience. The food is outstanding. At one point we were eating here at least twice a week. We have never had bad service or a bad meal. Sit at the bar, outside, or inside and you will have a great experience.

Service was way off this night. We waited unusually long to be initially served. Service from the kitchen took more than double the time we have experienced before. Then one of us was served the wrong salad dinner.

My wife and I entertained a couple over from England because of their fondness for Italian food. They were not disappointed and stated that this would become one of their favorite places. Excellent food and service as always. Unfortunately we were unable to order one of the specials since they had run out by the time we ordered.

My husband and I had dinner on a very busy Friday night. Initially, the service was excellent. We artived an hour early and they seated us immediately. It was colder than we thought outside, so they quickly moved us inside. Wine and appetizer came fast. Then we waited and waited. Our salad never made an appearance. We poured our own second and third glasses of wine. When our entrees were served, the waitress came over to apologize for the kitchen. Our desserts were on the house, but it would have been nice to receive an apology from the manager.

Located near the Western Hotel in a trendy area of Annapolis, this place was a pleasant surprise. We went during a holiday rush and did not feel rushed nor by the packed restaurant. They were full. The food is the answer but the service was great. Everyone loved what they ordered, from the lobster ravioli to the tiramisu. Weare going to come back to try out their other items . The menu has a great selection.

In the last few weeks, I've been to half a dozen restaurants in Annapolis and they've all been good, in my opinion. But Carpaccio was by far the best one. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. It's a very clean romantic setting. The only draw back is the entire place is open... Maybe a little too open. But still a 5 star overall.

This was my first visit. The food was sinfully good with heaping portions. The service was unbelievable friendly and efficient. There were three in our party and each of us ordered salads and entrees. By accident, we only ordered two appetizers. In the middle of the appetizers and salads, we asked the waiter to reduce our entree order to two with three plates...and we still boxed up food to take home. By the way, we're not light eaters. Even though we were stuffed, we couldn't leave without trying the toasted almond cake - outstanding! I'll be back!

We used open table to make an 11pm dinner reservation here on a Saturday night. (Planning to have dinner after a show at the Compass Rose Theater across the street). Upon arrival, the place seemed empty. Turns out the kitchen closes at 11pm! We made the best of it by ordering 3 appetizers to share (including a namesake carpaccio!) and had a nice evening. We would return for a real dinner again at an earlier hour.

first time dining here. efficient front end- a little flustered when our on-line reservation was not on the list, but gave us a table anyway ( turns out someone had mistakenly counted us as already checked in) . Had a very nice wine selections and not terribly marked up- basic decent chianti was $28/bottle, we had the Mazzai Zisola nero d'avola ) locally $29 in store for $66. food was very well prepared- pizzas are wood fired. we stayed and talked for quite awhile, and although restaurant was full, there was not even the slightest hint of pressure to turn the table over. overall a very satisfying meal with friends.

the food here is always excellent and theyy have a good selection of wine and drinks. The menu was changed since my last meal there over a year ago and was missing some of the pasta dishes I loved. We visited during restaurant week, and it was very crowded, nonetheless we still were seated within 15 mins of our reservation. The service is usually really good, but this time our waiter kept forgetting things and was not as attentive as our previous visits.

We really enjoyed our restaurant week meal at Carpaccio. The food was lovely, especially their spicy marina sauce. Our server seemed new, in regards to how well he knew the menu/wine list, but otherwise the service was great - full water glasses, etc. The meal took about 2 hours for 3 courses, but the restaurant was packed (I'd suggest reservations, they were turning people away). The wine list is mediocre, especially in regards to domestics, and I felt it was a bit overpriced. Overall Carpaccio was a pleasant surprise, we will be back.

Carpaccio is like going over to your Great Uncle Vincenzo's place in Philly. If it is daytime, expect the kids to be included and it will be a fun time with lots of laughter and stories and family and great food. If it is evening the youngest kids might not be there, but older, respectful-of-their-elders children will be, and it will be quieter, but with the same stories and great food. Carpaccio fits your mood and occasion because it is about the culture of family, food and love for the experience. When the weather is good you cannot beat the piazza! I go there for business meetings at lunch, family brunches on any Sunday or Easter, and dinner with my wife to remind her why we are still together after all these years.

I've only ever ate at the bar or been there for brunch. I always grab to go food from Carpaccio to go. It was a double date night with friends that we haven't seen in almost a year. Everything from drinks to dessert was phenomenal MINUS our absentee waitress. 15 minutes to greet us, was only ever there if we had food on the table. The woman who was filling our water was more attentive than our actual server. Coming from the restaurant industry on all levels, make sure that your staff wants to be there because if they don't, I promise there are servers out there that need jobs. Thank you for a beautiful evening. If it weren't for our great company, delicious wine and fantastic food, I wouldn't come back because of the service.

First of all, food was terrific. Everything cooked correctly, no soggy pasta, acidic sauce etc. Being Sicilian, I understand my bias and rather high standard I set when enjoying Italian cuisine. Carpaccio represented themselves well and proved to have high standards as well. The service was attentive and helpful even though it was a very busy evening (Valentines Day). My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening, we were never rushed and were allowed to enjoy things at our own pace, not the restaurants. I also felt the prices were very competitive. I have paid much more at other places and not enjoyed it half as much. Highly recommended.

The restaurant lives up to its name, Carpaccio. So far I've tried 2 of its carpaccio dishes and they're superb. My boyfriend and I had fhe lobster and scallop special. The scallop on the shell added to the dish was missing a scallop. I brought it to the wait staff's attention and I was brought a plate of 4 more. Overall, the whole dish was delicious, served hot and pasta was done right and not mushy. Overall, from the apetizer to the dessert, this place is awesome. Returning today with my two daughters as our Valentine's treat. Ambiance was okay. Only bec the seating area seems so packed and you have very little privacy.

My wife and I went to this restaurant as a Valentine's dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the restaurant was very well maintained. The staff was very courteous and the pricing was good for this type of dining. The only improvement I would suggest is a little more privacy between tables. The couple sitting next to us was pretentious, maybe even arrogant.
