We had a wonderful dining experience. We appreciated that it was relatively quiet. Our server was very attentive and accomadating. The food was delicious and the wine list was huge making it difficult to choose a wine. We enjoyed the ambience and felt very relaxed while dining. The lobster bisque was wonderful as were the crabcakes. I would highly recommend this restaurant however very expensive.

The setting is fabulous but while we support a healthy, locally grown approach to the menu, some of the food was really not tasteful.

I was desperate to get a reservation in Stowe at the last minute, thank goodness i could use my Open Table membership. The service and the quality of the food was 1st class. So great it was the wonderful presentation of our entrees that could divert our attention away from the wonderful views of the mountains surrounding Stowe Vt.

While this is a pricey dining option with entrees typically $30-50 and desserts at $12, the food is creative, fresh, and worth the price. The selection is good and the ambiance is very nice. This is one of the best restaurants in Stowe, VT.

People were actually smoking on the Restaurant Terrace( Where we were eating)- I know this violates state law! The food looked nice but it was not that great. The ambiance was horrible. This was billed as one of the most delightful places in central Vermont and I was so disappointed. Our waiter did a very poor job and it was loud next to the two pools.

The resort in general was gorgeous! The service was that of a cruise ship where you feel pampered and well taken care of constantly. The food was excellent, presentation was flawless, and generous in portion size. We would go back in a second and would definitely recommend Norma's to our skiing friends.

The restaurant staff was great with us especially since our 18 month old did not cooperate sitting at the table so we were up and down and in and out with the baby. The waiter was very helpful and gave the baby graham crackers since the bread basket was a bit too "sophisticated" for the baby's palate. Very friendly staff and nice grounds. Food was great too.

unfortunately it was a foggy, drizzly overcast day so was unable to see any potential view. Even with a view I wouldn't say it necessarily stands out. If you want lunch the dining tables and chairs seem to provide that type of atmosphere along with the pool outisde and the bar right in the dining area. It is not for fine dining. Found it to be very expensive for dinner although the food was very good. Interesting to note that no prices appear on the sample menus on the website. Was very disappointed in the service as my cocktail was served with some residue on the bottom of the glass and thus created a wet mess in the middle of the table and at my spot. The waitress never even addressed it, it was still there as we left the restaurant

First, the acoustics were so bad that you could not carry on a conversation with the people at your table. That rules this place out for romantic dining, special occasions and just about anything else. You could avoid the noise by dining outside, but the weather will make that a challenge most nights. Portable heaters were needed the night we were there to make it bearable for the few brave diners who chose that option. The food was a major disappointment. And, it was very pricey. Finally, the service was painful at times. We had to wait more than half an hour for our dessert to be served. We've eaten here before. While the food has been both good and bad on those occasions, overall this was a real slide downhill.

Everything else about Top Notch was wonderful - but the food at Norma's was overpriced and not that good - I was very disappointed. The food sounded creative but was just not executed that well. The restaurant is small and I wish it had more comfy tables for relaxing and to match the feel of the resort.

Good, but not great. The food had shining moments...the pork chop is excellent. At the same time, one of the guests had a fish dish that was dripping with oil. Our server came across as a bit pretentious, but didn't know the elements of the food very well at all. Last, I work in Manhattan and dine often in NYC restaurants. I do not ever recall being charged $8.00 for a bottle of sparkling water.

My friend and I were frankly disappointed. The servers at other restaurants were loyal to the united Stowe tourism industry and recommended it without qualification; hence we expected an exceptional meal, which did not happen for us. Our server Chris (male) was very nice and without fault but our overall experience was such that I could barely muster a 15% tip for him. The night plate-glass view was obliterated by full inhouse lighting and glare; we could faintly discern a flaming open pit in the yard. Not cozy. Restaurant hard to find through the maze of hotel corridors. Food: forgetful. Menu prices were not listed in the Stowe dining guide, as other restaurants' were. For us it was a learning experience: not go and not recommend.
