The food was excellent and the service was first-rate. As an example, when delivery of the bottle of wine we ordered was delayed, the restaurant provided us with complimentary wine (and excellent wine at that!).

We had lunch with 4 adults and 1 child. The staff was extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make the experience a lovely one. We had a 2-1/2 hour lunch (the restaurant wasn't crowded) and never felt hurried. The selection of rolls is very good and better than most restaurants offer. We also liked the French-press coffee which somehow stayed warm although we took our time in drinking it. This is the best place for a beautiful, delicious, conversation-friendly meal.

Excellent service. The fixed price lunch (for about $21.00) was a four course selection on one plate. The presentation was elegant. The choice of courses suitable for all tastes. Creative use of ingredients. Super experience. We also had a 3 set red wine flight and a wonderful lunch experience.

Very good surprise. We took the $40 menu which consists of one appetizer, one entree and one dessert. Not expansive compared with similar restaurants and taking into account the quality of food. Both Chef and Sous-Chef are French, which you can see when you eat. Nice presentation, portions are not too big, though you feel food after dinner. Deserts were great! Good wine list. Much cheaper than other more famous tables in Chicago but very good level quality/price.

I thought CDA was good, but not great. The menu was inventive, but the food was on the salty and heavy side. Service was very good.

I was initially worried about being inside a hotel, but this ended up not being an issue at all. The atmosphere was wonderfully romantic, and the harp was an excellent touch. I did not like the food, but I am extremely picky, probably excessively so. My girlfriend on the other hand, loved the food and enjoyed the champagne. We both agreed that the desserts were amazing. The service was professional and friendly.
