An unhappy Valentine Day night dining experience. 3 hours. 2 1/2 hours before we were served our entrees, of which we'd already consumed our bottle of nice red wine in expectation we'd be served "any moment" according to our waiter. Kitchen was very poorly run. I'll never go back.

At a recent dinner it appeared that the restaurant had booked more reservations than they could handle. As a result service was very slow and we never did get dessert. The food when it was served was delicious. It was very tasty and the appearance was great. Our previous experience was very good and I expect this latest incident was an anomaly.

Went on Valentines Day with my Sweetie!! Glad we had an early reservation!! 2nd seating folks sat at the Bar for quite a while!! The food was up to snuff as usual, but the service was awkward & slow. While I understand & appreciate fine dining is an event & takes time, 2 hours & 40 minutes was a little long!! Good news was it didn't affect the food which arrived Hot and Delicious!!! Our waiter took care of our Champagne which was nice. But the staff was not on their Game tonight!!

My wife and I love heading to Indulge for a casual romantic night out. Great food in a cozy place that makes you feel like your off a Paris side street. So thankful to have this place in our neighborhood. Small but terrific wine list put together with the abiding sense that good wine belongs on the dinner table and doesn't have to break the bank.

Told to sit wherever we'd like. Chose a 4 top in the corner, and then host told us we couldn't sit there on a Saturday night and made us select a 2 top. The place never became more than 25% full. The place was understaffed even with only 25% capacity. It took 20 minutes for the drinks to be served. dinner took almost 3 hours because the place only had a single waiter. The portions, even for French and Euorpean standards, were very small. They offered a single piece of bread which was about 1.5 inches long. The lamb was 32 $ and consisted of a 2.5 ounce piece of meat. I will never return to this place.

The food here is good but for the price you pay I expect better execution. I don't have any problems paying for well executed dishes but when you serve bistro quality and charge near fine dining prices that's when I can't recommend a restaurant. On the other hand the service from the French women was very attentive and the wine selection was fine and priced reasonably. Overall the experience was fine but for the price I can think of other restaurants to dine at.

We have had several great meals at Indulge. The ambiance is comfortable and very French but not uber-hip. The wines are great and reasonably priced. The French bread is house-made and delicious. I tend to get meat at French restaurants but really like the salmon there. The steak frites are good too. Save room for dessert. The moelleux (chocolate lava cake) and the trio of creme brûlée are awesome.

The Good - hostess greeted us by name, perhaps because they only had a few reservations that night The Good - Moelleux Au Chocolat, best food we ate that night The Bad - There were many tables empty, but the guests were all clustered in groups of 2 and 3 The Bad - portions are really small, not worth the value The Bad - the food was okay, not particularly great flavor The Bad - the waiter discussing at the bar how bad the restaurant was, how he always had to tidy up etc etc The Ugly - Guy sat at the bar with his jean pants sagging around his knees Overall. I would not recommend this restaurant

Four of us dined after attending the Passport to France exhibit at DAM. We had a wonderful time. Service from the wait staff and gracious hosts was outstanding. Portions were larger than most French restaurants. Wine list, mainly French, had some great selections, including Lettre d' Eloise chardonnay, which was exceptional. One of the finest virtues of the meal was the pleasant ambiance that allowed the four of us to talk and hear each other comfortably.

We started with the muscles provencal...Worth the trip just for the muscles. I was thinking I should cancel my entree, order another order of muscles and a salad! Instead, we had the crispy scottish salmon as our entree. The food is nothing short of incredible. The muscles were delectible with a shallot, garlic, lemon butter white wine broth that is to die for. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The food here is really outstanding. Service is good, but you come for the food and come again, I will!!

Service was attentive, young guy tried very hard but had to be rescued by the owner--she's outstanding, brings France to your table. Every dish tasted wonderful BUT the lamb portions where a joke: a filet the size of a quarter and two chops that were two tiny bites per "chop." The sweetbreads were outstanding as we're all the variety of sauces. Overall great flavor. You just to have to run over to Carls to eat a pizza after you finish here if you order the lamb. Desserts were delectable and light. This is a flavor palace.

All in all our dining experience was perplexing. Small, intimate setting, but a female employee that laughed and yelled like Ethel Merman singing Mame! A French restaurant that offered portions smaller than Tapas places, at heftier prices. A 9 dollar "tasting" of summer soup that amounted to 3 tiny cups of good soup at 1.25 ounces each. In comparison with other French restaurants in Denver.. the Indulge doesn't do well. Unless your'e planning an evening out on 38th street..yes 38th st near Sheridan..visiting Ziggy's Rock and Roll and blues place, or the retirement home across the street.. choose another French restaurant.

William, the chef, is a bonafide artist who takes his craft very seriously and who is very interested in what he does and how it is received. The menu is diverse and features seasonal ingredients; dishes are brilliantly prepared and cleverly served, with a combination of tastes which tantalize the palate. After an extraordinary meal, don't miss the flourless chocolate cake for dessert - a decadent end to an excellent experience.

Service: At first our waiter was great --- jovial, knowledgeable, and appropriately prompt. But then he forgot my husband's after-dinner drink, which my husband wanted to enjoy with his coffee. NOT pleased. Restaurant wasn't crowded, so no excuse for that. Then the waiter got a bit short & snippy -- we thought he would at least comp us a dessert or glass of wine, but he didn't. Food: My scallops were delicious, and two of our party had the mussels and said they were very tasty. But the lamb dish and the steak (entrecote) were deemed "just okay." For a restaurant as pricy as this one, we expected truly great things -- as we had experienced about 5 years ago, soon after it opened.

I always enjoy Indulge. Scallops were cooked to exactly the right temperataure, carrot + flavors blend beautifully with scallops, always like beets and presentation was lovely. I always have thesuperb salmon but since there was none to be had clearly I was delighted with dinner. Missed the rolls. Maybe they'll come back. The others enjoyed their halibut....from my observation their plates were "loaded" but they were happy. Trio Creme Brulee and the Sunday were both absolutely delicious. It was a good evening.

We've been to Indulge many times and are never disappointed. However, this was our first Thursday evening dinner. They offer a mussels special on Thursdays and they were special! The menu offers at least eight different versions. We tried two and they were standouts. The wine list is moderately priced and the chef's baked in house baguettes are simply outstanding. Make sure you ask for the baguette because ir's on a request basis. The location of Indulge is not the best but once inside, you really are transported to a family French restaurant that could fit right in at a small village in France. Go once and you'll become addicted.
