LITTLE BARN
Simply executed, yet expertly prepared, the flavorful and approachable dishes at the Little Barn bring the local Maine farmstead and fisheries to the table. It is a fantastic way to experience the amazing food and service for which the White Barn Restaurant is known.

Enjoy our Provisions menu along with Chef Mathew's daily menu board, featuring ever changing local favorites. Our Chef comes to work at the The White Barn Restaurant and he comes to play in the Little Barn.

Our waiter Patrick was personable and knowledgeable. The charcuterie board was God awful. 7 small pieces of spicy salami and the innards of an andouille sausage. Tasted awful, looked awful. Do not order. No real chef would ever allow that out the kitchen door..we were stunned. The salmon and chicken entrees were good.. not great. The bananas foster was strange to the eye, and small but tasted good. Lastly the bartender was full on nasty and curt.. Don’t attempt to sit there with any warm welcome.

New chef, menu felt like a lunch menu with no ability to order off the white barn menu, which you were able to do before

Another amazing experience at Little Barn. Our server, Patrick, was awesome. And Hugo stopped by our table to welcome us, by name, which is always a nice touch. Just love it every time we come. Highly recommended for a guaranteed excellent meal and exceptional service.

Everything we had was tasty, and the staff were friendly. Our server was, while very pleasant, so incredibly slow that it took more than 2 hours for our salad starter and four basic entrees - one of which was a forgotten kids pasta we had to seek someone out to ask about after no one returned to check in. Our daughter’s drink was not the one she ordered but we didn’t bother to correct it; we needed to flag the server down for a second glass of wine and sparkling water while waiting for our entrees to arrive. I had hopes of trying the bananas foster dessert but finally decided to move on once our server hadn’t returned for at least minutes after clearing our dinner plates. We finally asked another server if we could have our bill. The tables around us all came and went while we tried to be patient. We understand our server was very new so hopefully he’ll find a flow as he gets settled in. We won’t be rushing back.

So disappointed - brought my mom for her 80th birthday. Service was terrible. Charcuterie board was a mess and everything it was wet. $75 steak was tough. Noise level terrible. Skip it.

What a lovely experience. We went to the Scribe wine dinner and it was such a special night. The food was perfectly seasoned and the restaurant space was gorgeous. Must go!

We sat at the bar which was quite nice with the piano. The bartender service was excellent. Our meal seemed to take awhile to arrive but it was quite good when it did, salmon and a burger. Very nice local spot.
