Our family got together at the Table Mountain Inn for Thanksgiving. The food was pretty good (mashed potatoes). I didn't care for the gravy, they were prepared with the giblets - Ick! The sweet potatoes had a bit of cayenne pepper in it. Overall the food was good and so was the service. The food has a bit of a twist on the traditional thanksgiving fare. Dessert was excellent!

We have taken friends to this restaurant for years but the last 2 times the food was marginal at best. The menu has stayed the same but the flavor of each dish is not as good. The margaritas had way to much lime, the Buffalo pot roast was not good and we didn't eat it. In the past, the Pinion Cherry Chicken was "To Die For", but now is just o.k. The service and our waiter were great but we won't be going back since this is the 2nd time we had the same experience.

What a delightful place this restaurant was! And located in a small, quaint, yet energetic and fun town, Golden. The service was outstanding and the food was not fancy, but very good and interesting. We will make this a regular place to go at least once a month!

If it hadn't been for the Wikki Stix (kids' toy) provided to my daughter when we sat down, we probably would have left. It took 45 minutes to get our food for brunch (after ten minutes of waiting to order our drinks, and another five to place our food order), and it was just o.k. The mimosas were not good -- they were made with some kind of overly sweet sparkling wine. We'll probably think of other places first for brunch before we go back here.

We have eaten there (Table Mountain Inn) several times in the past, and found the food and ambiance quite pleasant/good. This time, however, we were seated at a large table (8 of us) in the bar, where there's not much ambiance. The food was pretty strongly hot peppered without warning. Service was slow.

This has been our "go-to" restaurant for many years. The menu is unique, fresh and inspired with a southwestern twist. There is something here for everyone, from seafood to buffalo. My favorite appetizer is the crab stuffed mushrooms and my favorite entree is the london broil. Although they are known for their great margaritas, check out their diverse and interesting wine list. This, in my opinion, is Golden's finest dining establishment.

The portions here are generous and the prices good. Our server was near perfect, she was attentive and friendly but not around too much or too talkative. (Kirsti, I believe) Also she timed our courses perfectly, I couldn't have asked for better. I'll definitely return to Table Mountain Inn. Best item? Definitely the Crab Stuffed Mushrooms, they were devour-able.

The food was terrible, and terribly overpriced. All a la carte...$15 for the chile relleno plate. The shrimp in the shrimp taco seemed like something they took out of a bag of frozen shrimp. Small and unappetizing. The worst meal I've had in a long time. (The salsa was good, though.)

We are locals and regular customers of TMI eating "in" there at least once a week. We take advantage of takeout maybe three times a week because we love their salads especially during the summer months. We are on a first-name basis with most of the staff, including management, so we get special attention which we LOVE. The food is consistently good tasting and good value. We had our wedding reception there 1 May 1999 and a combination fifth anniversary + husband's 65th birthday celebration in 2004. 'Nough said!

A unique twist on southwest; Table Mtn. Inn has its own flair like no other and very down to earth and welcoming to anyone, while keeping its more up-scale style of cuisine. Prices are reasonable for the whole family, yet still special enough for 'date night.' We've been there numerous times and now we even travel 45 minutes or more to go, when we used to live 10 minutes away. It's worth the trip.

Only one downside. We changed our res from 6:30 to 5:30. Restaurant was basically empty except for the sidewalk area. Hostess still marched us to the back and tried to seat us next to 2 water stations. Why anyone ever does this is beyond me especially with the stated conditions. If it happens twice we never go back. (The waiter made up for the hostess idiotic approach to seating though)

This is the feedback I sent to the restaurant: "I took my family to dinner at your restaurant last night & was very disappointed. The service was almost nonexistent & the food was barely cooked. We sat for 30 minutes before anyone showed up to start off the evening. Your waitress seemed to be extremely slow - her attitude appeared to be that she just really didn't want to be there. Several of the steaks were ordered medium rare but came out very rare - we sent one back & it took another 20 minutes to take care of that (I had to get up & track one of your staff down to see where is was - I'm sure it was just setting back on the warming tray because he brought it right out). The only bright spot seemed to be the young men delivering the food.

The waitress was slow and grumpy! For a quieter and more intimate dining experience eat on the south side as the section on the north side has the bar and is more of a bar that serves food, as opposed to the south side which is more of a restaurant that serves drinks. The quality of the meals is very good but when I spoke with the manager about the slow grumpy waitress, his response was to defend her. I suspect that it is a toss up as to what your experience will be like, depending on who's shift it is.

Let me start by saying I love the TMI - it is where I got married in 2001 and I love the uniqueness of the venue. That said, our last Mother's Day brunch at the TMI was in May 2006 and it was not good at all. The hot food was cold and everything was just OK. We went somewhere else last year, but thought we would give it another go this year. My husband and I could not have been more pleased - the food was fabulous and hot, the service was attentive and the buffet was well laid out. We will definitely be back again next year.

The food was all right. There were 3 out of 5 of us that were sick that afternoon from something we ate. The bathroom was disgusting. Our waitor was very nice but next to non-existent. We'd flag him down to get a beverage but he'd run off before getting an order from all 5 of us so then we'd have to wait for the one drink to arrive to order others. All in all, not such a great experience. Especially for the price. The quality of the buffet was not worth $30/person. We won't go back there again.

The service was outstanding from the initial contact at the door all the way throughout the evening with the server, busser, bartender (who custom made a drink with prickly pear juice), and manager who stopped by. Made reservation on line. Did not know buffet ended at 4pm!! Only reservation available was 3:30 so took it. Realized at 4pm restaurant quickly emptying; found out about the hours. Rushed to eat. Sat in back against wall and had to walk by service area to get food, along with all the wait staff trying to do their job and standing there! Floor was slippery for dress shoes. People conglomerated around entrance of restaurant, making it difficult to walk through and with food! Kids were everywhere; three boys used their hands to dig in to the shrimp to get the empty tabasco bottles WHILE WE WERE PULLING SHRIMP OURSELVES! I chastized them. They chastized me! The flow of the buffet was awful. Will never come back. Our ages: 55/4 of us
