Overall it was a very nice meal. Our names got skipped somehow on the seating list, but when we figurd out something was wrong and asked they were very apologetic. They gave us a free appetizer because of the delay. The food was very good. I would definately go back.

If you enjoy seafood..this is a great spot on the water. I had a dozen raw oysters, fried oysters and mussels in a white wine broth for an entre'. They were all fresh and great. Ample wine list and service was excellent. My wife had an excellent fresh grilled local grouper with a lemon butter caper sauce.

The food tasted great and was well prepared. We just had fried fish and shrimp so it wasn't exotic, but was very yummy. The biscuits were also superb. Excellent service. It was a beautiful day so we ate outside and had a great view of the bay.

The food was below average. No one at our table liked the flavor of their dishes. Fish was very "fishie" tasting. . . but they do give you large portions. So if size over quality is important. . . then this is the place for you.

We're new to Charleston, and apparently so is this restaurant. We love the atmosphere and the food. They claimed to be known for their "hush-puppies" and they should be. They are not your "typical" kind. It is a great place for a family meal or a romantic dining experience. The parking is a little difficult, but there is a nearby lot that is not too expensive. Haven't ordered anything from the menu yet that did have some "wow" factor. Highly recommended!

Our second visit to Fleet Landing was disappointing. First visit in Sept. 2007 was suprisingly good. Not fancy or inventive but well prepared seafood, one of the few restaurants in the historic district for southern fried seafood. This visit the food was not nearly as good and our server was forgetful and inattentive. My wife's flounder was akin to Captain D's style. Side dish was not brought until late in the meal. We won't be back and that's a shame the water view is very attractive.

Recommended by friends. Very casual. Our first time eating here - we visited at 11:00 am for "brunch" and ordered a "special" seafood quiche. The quiche was a generous portion on a bed of grits. It was good but not what I was expecting - just not what I normally eat. In hindsight, I wish I had ordered something more typical from the menu such as fried shrimp, fish or a sandwich. Also ordered pimento cheese spread and crackers as an appetizer which was homemade and very fresh and good. Other menu items I saw coming to other tables looked good. Prices were reasonable. I will go back and would recommend it.

I was not impressed. There are so many great places to eat in Charleston and this one disappointed me. The one notable dish was the she crab soup. It had an oustanding flavor and was thick with crab meat. The stuffed hush puppies were dry and not worth price.

After finding this place on line, we were given reviews by close friends who have eaten here. We tried it out and I must say this is one of my top places to eat. The hush puppy appetitizer is a MUST HAVE when you dine here. The waitor was extremely nice and very helpful. We have visited here twice and and will most definitely come back. Thank you for a wonderful experience and great food. Try the Ginger Honey Glaze Atlantic Salmon, with mashed potatoes and green beans. Excellent.

The decor seemed to pull off Nautical the right way with wide views of the harbor, spartan but comfortable flow throughout restaurant with a slightly rowdy hum at the outdoor bar. The food was decent and family friendly with your basic fried seafood combos. The fancier fare was not executed well including a butter drenched pan roasted trout and soggy stuffed hushpuppies. The beer was cold and prices were reasonable for the area. This was my third trip. Outside of the execution issues, we will keep coming for the beer and the views.

I was wearing black capri pants and was given a white napkin. At the end of the evening I noticed my pants were covered with white lint. It would have been nice if I were offered the choice of a black napkin. I noticed that the outside seats were picnic tables. I prefer a chair with a back, and not to share a bench.

The only restaraunt on the waterfront in Charleston, SC. It is absolutely beautiful, service was excellent, as was the food. I visited the restaraunt and chose it for the final dinner of my honeymoon because I felt that it would be the perfect end to a memorable week. I would highly recommend this restaraunt for seafood lovers and they have a few items of the non-seafood variety. Price was very affordable for the location, food quality, and service. I know I will eat there on future visits to Charleston.

This is the 2nd time in the last 6 months that we have dined at Fleet Landing. Both times we had reservations and had to wait 15 minutes or more past our reservation time before our table was ready (this time because we had requested a table outside on the deck). Service was fine the first time we visited, but slow this time. Our salads arrived 35-40 minutes after placing our order, and then only after we reminded our waiter that we had not received them. Our entrees arrived about 1 hour and 10 minutes after placing our order. A 5-year old in our party had ordered a grilled cheese sandwich which did not arrive until 5-10 minutes after all of the other entrees. The ambience and view from the deck is great; inside is nothing special.

Went to Fleet Landing for the 4th of July. If you are not outside on the deck eating, then it is hard to see the fireworks. They had waiters guarding the doors so no one could make it out onto the deck to see. This was a little disappointing to me. Food was really good and the creme brulee was a great way to end the night. I was promptly seated as I had previously made a reservation using Open Table.

Our waitress was one of the worst we have had in a while, and by far the worst at Fleet. Her name was Frannie and seemed more interested in the tables around us, who were ordering alcohol. Since we had ordered tea, it seemed to be a problem to bring refills. We saw her four times the whole time we were there. She took our drink order, took our food order, checked on us one time and then brought the check. I realize that the 4th of July was a busy time, but she was constantly passing us to take more bar drinks to the other customers. Since we love Fleet so much, we will continue to eat there, hopefully next time we will not sit in her section.

For the price of apps and dinners it was a little disappointing....Crab bruschetta app- crab had some shells- didn't seem fresh; tasted like can crab.
