I didn’t even have a chance to eat here because we waited 20 minutes at out table and no one came to serve water/take orders. I had a reservation and we still waited 15 minutes past the reservation time to be seated. Not impressed.

I had a friend visiting from Alaska and we had an amazing time. The food was absolutely divine, the presentation was delightful and the atmosphere and service was impeccable looking forward to coming back!

We had a reservation for 6:45pm. We entered the restaurant and staff did not greet us for 11minutes. Once acknowledged, we were seated where we waited an additional 15minutes without any service whatsoever. During this time, groups seated after us were receiving service and having their orders taken; including the table right next to us where we were still not even acknowledged after their order was provided. We left the restaurant without receiving any service whatsoever. Clearly they are understaffed but attention should be made to parties seated prior to others in terms of service requirements.

Great food, worth the price if ambiance was better. Hvac is a bit loud above dinning area, but more importantly the lighting is the wrong color! Warm white is needed the current wall lights and pot lights make it feel like a hospital cafeteria and cast awful shadows on faces and food.

An enjoyable dining experience. Charming sushi joint where the chair legs loudly scape the floor and metal beer kegs sit in number at the front door. Hey that rhymed! Delicious sushi and very friendly staff. Not high end but a worthwhile experience for sure.

Quick dinner next to Hotel Blue on corner of Robson and Cambie. Small but authentic Japanese food. Taco wasabi was the hottest octopus dish I’ve ever had. Had to pause after every bit because of wasabi affect. My double spicy tuna roll was perfectly rolled and cut in bitesize to enjoy the melt in your mouth flavours., 2 choices of Sapporo available here-regular and black. The grilled miso blacken cod-cooked to perfection - soft tender and flavourful. Highly recommend this place! Great menu to choose from if you’re adventurous!
