We dined at Sent Sovi for our 10th wedding anniversary and couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. The food was wonderful, the service was outstanding, and the decor was elegant. We were well taken care of and can't wait to go back.

Service and food is nice. A bit odd that the Chef's Menu is only avail. if everyone at your table orders it. A bit of a bummer as this is the type of restaurant that prides itself in the Chef's Tasting menu.

The duck hash and the foie gras were excellent. Beyond that, everything else was good but not too memorable. Service was very friendly and you could tell that they tried hard, but they need to work on their general knowledge and attention to details.

This place is very expensive and the food not accordingly in my opinion. I (we) did not feel it was worth that much money. It was a nice experience, which we will not repeat. This place is for people who don't care to spend at least $ 100 per person.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2006

Sent Sovi had a great french inspired california style menu - We tried the vegetarian tasting menu and it had been very harmoniously designed. The courses were of the right portion and each course was delicious. No misses... The service was very good and were helpful in choosing a great wine. The vegetables featured were all seasonal and did justice to each of the dish. The staff also helped by substituting one of our desserts with a chocolate trio dessert so that we can have a variety there. All in all - a good experience

Outstanding dining experience - facilitated by charming and knowledgeable head waiter, attentive wait staff, helpful maitre'd, and friendly owner(s)/chef who chatted with us and informed us about upcoming events that could be of interest to us. We absolutely loved the food, and appreciated the help with the choice of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening because of the outstanding food, wine, and relaxed and friendly dining experience. It was a truly memorable experience. Thanks to everyone at Sent Sovi!

Be prepared that the menu requires a patron choose from 3 or 5 entrees off the list, with a fixed price each per diner. My date and I found the amount of food a bit more than our fit tummies desired. But in the end, the restaurant accommodated our needs. The food was elegantly prepared and the taste and quality very rewarding. Best Foie Gras we ever had! Even the service was memorable. Enjoy.

...but I'm afraid that Sent Sovi is becoming "out of my price range". $37 per entree?? It's excessive, IMHO. Also, they encourage you to do the "tasting menu", which is too much food and way too expensive. My suggestion? The prices should be as they are for one or 2 people, but then the entrees should be listed "3 entrees for $80, or 4 for $100". That would encourage me to take my friends out, and would discourage 2 people sharing one entree. Bonnie Ochoa e-mail @ Bonnie8a@earthlink.net

I will never go back, I was very clear to the chef/owner that this was my 5year anniversary and I wanted bottle of champagne opened at our table as soon as we arrived. But needless to say not only did he stick us in a corner that was very uncomfortable and odd but he did not even bother to provide the champagne or come out and meet us. The food was so poor and tasteless, our starter was the lobster salad which smelled like it was a few days old I almost gagged and the 48hr short rib that our waiter boasted about being fork tender was even difficult to cut with a knife and tasteless. Also there are lots of paints on the wall for sale, I wasn’t sure if the owner thinks he is running a gallery because it’s sure he’s not running a restaurant

    OpenTable Diner Since 2005

Every moment in the restaurant was a delightful one-from the time we were warmly greeted to the time they boxed our desserts (since we couldn't eat another morsel after the risotto). My husband and I ordered the Vegetarian Tasting Menu. Our favorites out of the six course meal were: Sunchoke Napoleon (OMG: exquisite to the palate), spinach salad and the risotto. The soup was great too-except the quantity could have been a little smaller (what can I say-I'm a small eater!). The Lime Granita was a little bit of heaven in my mouth. I won't comment on the dessert only because we took it home and eating a poached pear the next day and commenting on it, just wouldnt be fair. Sent Sovi-we'll be sending our friends your way soon!

Service was extremely slow; after ordering (this restaurant requires that one should order starter, main course, dessert at the beginning) we waited 25 minutes for our first course. Though I requested that our wine (by the glass) be served with the main course, the waiter brought my wife's glass before bringing our starters. Between the first and main courses, we waited another twenty minutes. Ordering the cheese tray in place of dessert, I was told "We don't have a cheese tray, but I can tell you what we have." For all this there was a precedent: at our last previous visit we waited forty minutes for our main course. Both times, however, management apologized, and this time allowed a ten-percent discount.
