   Decided for peking duck as a Mother’s Day dinner, and R&D was a phenomenal choice. The line was very accommodating as we were about half an hour early and seated right away. Food selection was plentiful and delicious, however, take menu into consideration if you have any allergies. Our choices tonight were simple—siu mai, shrimp toast, carpaccio, fried rice, and of course, peking duck. Duck was definitely the highlight of the show; paired with steamed baos and all the fixings. Overall, I was very impressed with tonight choice to visit R&D; looking forward to seeing you all again.

   This was an amazing find for us. For our Anniversary, we took in the afternoon matinee of Cirque. However, given the timing of the show and the transit congestion, I was concerned we would not meet our reseseration. I called the restaurant to inquire whether we should cancel and the nice woman explained that they would hold our spot, fully understanding the situation. Upon arrival, we were quickly seated and presented two flutes of champagne to celebrate. From the waiter explaining the recommendations to the outstanding speed, quality and presentation of the food, this was truly a memorable experience.

   Went for our anniversary. Special night with some expectations. Food started great .. but we soon realized almost everything was spicy (we had our 7 year old daughter and 9 year old son with us). Service was great. But the food was not to our expectations. I've been to many Michelin star and plate restaurants around the world. I had to Google this one to see and verify because it was a big let down. Duck was also too fatty. The skin should be crisp. It wasn't. Lastly .. the entire family ended up drinking so much water afterwards. Not due to spice or saltiness, but due to msg. I can tell they use a ton of msg here. Lips were tingling... Usually a sign of msg usage. Michelin plates should be great food at a value. Spending $400 later.. no, I do not agree. Furniture and walls clearly needed cleaning also. Overall.. subpar experience with msg infused food. Does not deserve a Michelin plate rating. We all walked out saying we won't be back.

   The food is great if not a little on the pricey side. The duck is as advertised! Service was attentive but not too much so.

   This was a great experience! The food was wonderful. Taste and presentation for everything was terrific! We especially enjoyed the Iberico char siu. SO tender! We're hoping to return with a larger group and order the duck. My only slight disappointment was with the timing of service. Everything we ordered arrived very quickly and almost all at the same time. So, we weren't able to enjoy our cocktails before wine or one starter at a time before the main. We also were sitting at the chef's counter, so it became a bit cluttered with all the dishes at once. All in all, I must say that these are minor complaints because, overall, the service was very attentive, and the food was delicious. Definitely glad we visited and hope to return.

   Fantastic food. Brussel sprouts, rice and obviously the duck stand out. Great service. Accommodated our party of 12. Several repeat customers.

    I had a great experience dining at R&D. The food was absolutely delicious—especially the duck, which was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance made for a really enjoyable night out. I’ll definitely be coming back!
