    Seating layout is not the best. Extremely loud inside. I would have also would have liked to have a choice of seating either upstairs or downstairs. Downstairs too crowded and tables are too close together to each other. I could hear everyone's conversations.

    Were there twice in one week. Food was consistently good but service was really bad. A lot of people running around but no good service at all. If the restaurant does not pay attention to the service and make sure all their employees are knowledgeable and courteous it may make it difficult to stay in business for a long time. Second time we went I informed we were taking a special guest with us (owner of one of the most known restaurants in Madrid) and no one acknowledged our information.

    3 major points; 1. The initial SNAFUS when they couldnt find my reservation (even though they called 2 hours before)was a little unsettling; the matre d; tried to place us upstairs in the lounge, which my husband refused, and the maitre d' made a 'little face'. I don't relate fine dining with a bar and TV- leave that for Fridays(Tm). 2. Service is a bit overbearing and one might feel rushed as someone was always pouring water or wine into your glass. The waits staff is also a little inexperiebced in both food composition and pronounciation. 3. Food is either excellent or mediocre; we have been there 2x now and the paellas/fideua are rather unremarkable. I can do better at home. But, the sea bass and desserts are to "die" for.

    Originally when I made this reservation through Opentable, I put comments in the reservation that we were celebrating Richard's Birthday! We spent about $160 for lunch and no one from the restaurant came up or sang happy birthday or even a dessert as courtesy. This was an important client lunch and I was disappointed that no one from the restaurant had the courtesy for even a free complimentary dessert to my client! I would appreciate it if you let the restaurant manager know, so this can be avoided in the future! ALso, they never gave us bread before our meal, it was given to us after requesting twice! Due to my business I take my clients out to lunch especially on their birthday and this was an ok experience.

    Overall Por Fin was average and I will likely not return. My tuna appetizer was good. The Seabass was not. In fact, my stomach was hurting after the meal and I think it was the Seabass. By far the most frustrating part of the evening was the 30-40 minute wait for the dessert. Once it arrived it was not bad, but at that point my night was ruined and I just wanted to leave. I hope this feedback helps.

    We enjoyed a lovely dinner al fresco on their upstairs terrace. It was a perfect night and venue to celebrate a good friend's first pregnancy! The appetizer Coca de Caprese was fantastic! We also enjoyed our entreesm especially the scallops. Will definitely return.

    The staff was very unorganized. There seemed to be too many servers and we did not get personalized attention. Half of our meal was late; supposedly the kitchen did not get the order. Eventually, the missing half arrived, but in the meantime, the staff kept picking up our utensils, glasses, bread plates, thinking that we were already finished. Finally, when the meals did arrive, we had no utensils and had to wait for that. We had to remind our waitress that we never received the bread or dipping sauces.

    This is one of the best and new restaurant to come on the scene. Very Reasonably priced and they offer half portions. People who really care about what is always going is what the management is all about. They asked to see if there was any comments! A true dinning experience! For a restaurant that has not advertised or done any PR, they are rocking, especially the way Coral Gables restaurants are closing. This is a great sign.

    Upon arrival at the restaurant we were informed that only a limited "Mother's Day menu" was available that day. I have run into this type of situation several times before, but every time I have been advised when I made the reservation, never before upon arrival at the restaurant. This restaurant even called me the day before to confirm the reservation, and even then they did not tell me about the limited menu. This was not fair, I think, and it significantly detracted from our experience at this restaurant which I specifically chose because I thought that it's menu was very interesting. I would have gone elsewhere if I had known that the menu would not be available that day. Nevertheless, this is a very good restaurant.

    The experience would have been perfect except they had a prixe fixe for children for $35 which was unreasonable for pasta. They should be more accomodating in this regard; there were a lot of children since it was Mother's Day.

    The food was very good and presented in a lovely fashion. The wait staff was very attentive. The restaurant is very stylish, the staff is young and good looking. However the menu was small. We made the mistake of sitting outside on the 2nd floor balcony. Despite having fans it was very warm and humid and the setting sun was right in our face. Another problem is that I received a call 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to my reservation asking me to confirm. I was told that they could not hold the reservation if we were over 15 minutes late. We arrived on time for our 7:00 p.m. reservation and the place was nearly empty. It makes me wonder what the point of the call was. Would we have been turned away if we had arrived at 7:20 p.m.?

    The waiters need intense training, the food was excellent and A-1, but the service was one of the worst I have experianced at a fine restaurant. Its really ashame because this new restaurant is posed to be a winner, but the waiters need to be trained in wine and service. Our particular waiter has severe memory loss, we had to ask for a glass of wine 4 times

    Excellent meal with particular interest on meal presentations. Our waiter was attentive although not as friendly as he could have been. WE did encounter during our very brief wait, a "manager" type that was most informative and friendly. As previously noted, a bit on the loud side as acoustics apparently don't favor the place when full of talkative people. Will go again.

    Overall the food was very good. The Seafood rice could use some work, has a strong fishy aftertaste; however the bass was exquisite, cooked to perfection that's not an easy find these days. Service was exceptional, would definitely go back. Ambiance inside was on the loud side, so for a more calm dinner I would request outside seating.

    This was my second time there and the food, ambience, experience was great. We had the same problems both times which was they did not give us enough menus for the table and it took nearly 20 minutes until the waiter brought one over. Although our waiter was nice, he was a little "green" and got a little defensive when we pointed out his mistakes. We ordered 3 courses but he put the second and third together which did not happen the first time I went. I also think the entry way is odd, it looks like you are walking into the back room, it looks unfinished and disorganized. Otherwise, it's great.

    "Por Fin" (Spanish for "finally") is a good restaurant in the Spanish/Meditteranean tradition. Both the exterior of the restaurant and the modern interior are very pleasant. The service is good with friendly waiters. Bread and different spreads and olive oil came to the table in an instant. At least the lunch menu is limited but provides Spanish and Italian specialties. The starters are generous and would probably serve as a whole meal if you are mot very hungry, og as we did: starters and a half portion of the entrée. The possibility to select half portions of most main courses is an absolute plus for "Por Fin". The quality of the food is good, the presentation delicate.

    Excellent twist on Spansih cuisine. Very Yummy food and very reasonable prices. The restaurant is BEAUTIFUL. There is a wonderful range in the menu. The service was excellent (I think we had a girl named Jen who is also a bartender there and came from northern FL). She provided 5 star service!!! I'll I can say is, FINNALY.
