  • The restaurant was beautiful.

The restaurant was beautiful. Our only complaint was that there was too much service at our table. There was a server and an assistant to the server. Although we appreciate the service from the server and assistant, then we were visited by the manager and the sommelier (or I assume it was the sommelier) and the visits were not a stop off to check how we were doing, it happened that they lingered at the table and we missed the sunset. Bummer! On our fault, we did not rush or give a signal of our want for intimacy.

Amazing view!!! The dinner was a real event - not rushed, constant refills of our wine and water glasses, attention to every detail. And,since it was our anniversary, they finished the evening with a beautiful plate w/ a lit candle, Happy Anniversary written in chocolate and an elegantly wrapped box of chocolates.

Excellent place for Easter brunch. Tiny portions were perfect, I was able to enjoy most of there dishes. Sushi could have been better- could not order sashimi.

I had thought that we were making reservations for Easter brunch-instead it was the generic breakfast bar. The hostess was very rude about the situation and would not try and help us at all. This makes me think twice about using Open Table and skipping the Ritz altogeher

I'm upset. The Ritz did not have my reservation for the 22nd they had it for the 28th, so I'm very disappointed. The dinner was a surprise b-day and so I did not get the romantic table I requested nor were not very understanding about their mistake in the booking. I'm not sure what happened on their end as they even called to confirm the correct date on the 22nd. But the hostess didn't want to believe me, was rude to us, didn't even wish my boyfriend happy birthday nor apologize for their mistake. For the Ritz I find this totally unacceptable.

My fiancee and I had a great time at the restaurant. The food was great, but we both thought the cocktails were a bit too pricey. The service was outstanding; severs were always very attentive and polite. However, I had a horrible case of food poison afterwords. I'm not sure what caused it, but I had a rough night after the experience at the restaurant. Although I liked the service and the great view, I don't think I'll be going back.

Food was great. Did the chefs tasting menu, paired with wines. Service was terrible. No connection with the many wait staff that breezed by and dropped another plate of food on the table. Wine steward was knowledgable, but seemed book smart, and uncomfortable in front of people. All in all, enjoyable, but for that much money, I would expect some seasoned professionals on the wait staff. They must have raided the local Red Lobster.

The PEI Mussels were delectable, and the accompanying sauce and bread were the very best. However, the Kobe beef hamburger was not cooked to order (medium rare) It came well done. Also, we asked to split our dishes, so we could try both items, and although the items were nicely split, they were served at exactly the same time, so that by the time we got to the hamburger, it was ice cold in addition to being overcooked. The servers were very congenial and did so much correctly, it seems picky to mention that I had to get out of my chair to reach and salt and pepper. But in a perfect world, the server would have pushed them within easy reach. This is offered in the spirit of helpfulness; the meal was delightful and memorable. Thank you

The service was excellent but my main dish was over saturated in sauce and I could not even tastse the meat. The appetizers however were really good so I don't understand why the main dishes are not the same. I felt I paid too much for the dish.
