We had the set menu for 6 people. The delicious food never stopped coming. If we ran out of something, more came. This place is outstanding for a group that wants to eat family style. However, watch out for the expanding waistline. Also, we were late for our reservation but called ahead. They held our table. This was above and beyond expectation.

We dined at Maggiano's for Easter dinner. Upon arriving we thought we were going to have a horrible experience. The maitre'd wasn't friendly. We asked for a high chair and he curtly said to let our server know. We didn't see our server for some time. When we sat down all of the water glasses were dirty as were some of the plates. No one apologized and the person removing the glasses looked annoyed. It was difficult getting someone's attention when we needed something. This may have been due to it being Easter and maybe they were understaffed. It was our first experience there so we have nothing to compare it to. We were surprised that the red wine was served room temp. On a good note, our server was friendly and the food was very good.

We have been to many different great Maggiano restaurants, and this one was no exception. We enjoyed our food very much, and our server was outstanding. I have one question. Will you be getting a Corner Bakery?

We went for Easter brunch and just ate off the regular menu. And, as usual, the food was good. But the server never came back to fill drinks, and all the people around us had empty glasses as well. And, before anyone uses the excuse that the restaurant was busy, there were empty tables all around us. It was Easter, but this is a common problem at this restaurant.

The only problem we had with the Easter Brunch were the chaffing dishes used to serve the food. The lift off lids made it difficult to serve food. The swivel top chaffing dishes would have been more feasible. Other than that brunch was a great experience.

We will dine there again; but make our reservations for earlier. We felt rushed due to our late (11p) reservation and the kitchen was closing so the servers were ready to get off work. The Mom's Lasagna was very salty and the presentation of the dish did not look good; I was not satisfied with my main entree. Overall everything else was fine and we still had a good time..... • Maggiano's food is the best
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 3/21/2008
Maggiano's food is the best thing going for it. You don't go there for the service. We waited for Bread and water for almost 20 minutes. We were seated on the back wall off the beaten path so the servers rarely came by to refill drinks or to see if we needed anything. Then it took almost 30 minutes to get the check after dessert. If it wasn't for the food - we would not go there. The food as always was great.

Our party had a VERY enjoyable time at Maggiano's. We were very happy with both the food and the service. Our waitress was EXTREMELY friendly and very helpful. She checked back with us on a regular basis, even when she received a large party at another table. We are axious to return to Maggiano's in the near future

The food was very good. We ordered the seafood canelloni special and the baked ziti. Portions are large so consider 1/2 portions when offered. The service was competent. We only wish the tables weren't so crowded. We got jostled about by two other parties as they tried to get to their seats. We'll enjoy dining at Maggiano's again.

We ate "family style" with a group of six. As a table, we were able to choose two appetizers, two kinds of salad, four entrees, and two deserts. Was very reasonably priced for such a large amount and variety of food. Most of the dishes were very good, although we ordered a halibut which all found pretty bland. Overall, though, great dining experience.

The food is consistent and very good. For large groups it is great. The servers are usually too busy to keep iced tea/coffee/soft drinks full, which is a pain, and the bread is also almost always never filled a second time. Once in a while we get a waiter/waitress who keeps the glasses full, but this is one of the restaurants where we consistenly are disapointed by the service in this regard. I love Open Table and would not eat at Maggianos without the service, the wait is far too long. So without Open Table I wouldn't vist ever. I love their email newsletter and special coupons, that's also changed my mind about where to eat on occasion -- knowing I have a free dessert.

We enjoyed the "family style" experience with the promised "endless refills." The restaurant was quite busy, but was able to seat our party very quickly. The service was a little slow, possibly due to the large number of Saturday evening diners.

Well, the chicken marsala was dry, along with the chicken with the bruschetta on it. The menu had food on it, kind of nasty. The pastas tasted great. We did the family style dinner. Plenty of food.

  • I was very disappointed with
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 3/10/2008
I was very disappointed with Maggiano's - we took friends there from out of town, and the food was very marginal to poor - the booth was wedged in the back behind a table of overweight people that did not allow us to get out once we got in - it was nearly impossible for the waiter to get to our table and we made a reservation in advance! The irony is we were early, and we still had to wait for this terrible table location. The food was the worst part of the meal, and I believe it was probably the most I ever paid for very mediocre fare. Won't be back - too bad Maggiano's Scottsdale did not live up to my memory of the good food experiences in Denver.

Noisy, crowded, bland and unimaginative. Portions way too big,and nothing special. Pasta overcooked, Eggplant Parmigiana greasy and overbreaded. Service was friendly and reasonably efficient, that's about all I can say. Very disappointing, as I had always heard good things about the place.
