I've eaten at Maggiano's many times. I especially like ordering the Family Style meal to share with a group. The only complaint I may have is that we ate lunch there and it was dark in the restaurant. I'd prefer if it was lighter during the day.

Server ignored us and focused on a table of high rollers in his section. While he was in the weeds with a demanding table he did not get help from other servers who were idle at one of the wait stations.

Our waiter was extremely rude and made it appear as though we were a tremendous inconveneince. This was very disappointing, as we had been to this restaurant once in the past and had excellent service. My husband and I had looked forward to this dinner, only to be extremely disappointed and, quite frankly offended, by this the waiter. I don't know if we will be returning based on this experience.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2014
    Dined on 3/29/2008
The evening had a rough start. Our reservations were set for 6:30PM and I had confirmed the reservation 24hours more than 24 hours in advance, but my party of 13 was left to wait 50 minutes for a table. We were gathering for my fiance's birthday party and if we had decided to make it a surprise, it would have been completely disasterous. I did not appreciate the consistent insistings from the hostess that we would be seated in the next ten minutes. Once we were seated, the food came out fairly quick so we were pleased by this. Our server was touch-and-go, perhaps due to the language barrier on his end. In the end, it turned out to be a great evening since the food is always steller at Maggiano's.

I took my wife to Maggianos for our anniversary. I made reservations online through Open Table and took advantage of the gift service that was available at the time of making our resrvations. When we arrived, the very lovely bouquet I ordered online was already at our table, and the manager stopped by to wish us well and provided us with two complimentary flutes of champaign. The waiter was excellent and enthusiastic and the restaurant went out of their way to make us feel special. Overall, it was a memorable occasion and I will recommend Maggianos to my friends for their special occasions. I will also recommend they use Open Table for their reservations. Thanks again for making our anniversary something extra special this year!

Maggiano's is too dark. We sat in the center section where there is no overhead lighting at all. Most of the other tables have either a lamp or an overhead ceiling light. Overall, however, they have the lights sent for 8 pm diners when it is still late afternoon/early evening - and there are no windows. I understand dimming the lights after the sun goes down, but not for 5:30! The tables are too close together which adds to the noise. Noise and ambiance are not the same thing. I would prefer more booths. Our server was quite overwhelmed with his tables and we were largely ignored. We sat for 10 - 15 minutes before he came over for the drink order. We didn't see much of him.

I'm not a foodie at all. Poor rating on service because although we only ordered salads for 4 at lunch, they took 30 minutes to arrive with no visits inbetween by waiter explaining the delay. When we finally caught his eye and explained the problem, he was back with food in under 5 minutes. Also was slow on refilling water glasses, they were empty for quite some time. Waiter was a nice fellow, maybe new?

I ordered a pasta dish that specified angel hair on the menu. I was served linguine. I told the server that the pasta was the wrong kind and he offered to get me a new dish of angel hair. The problem was everyone else was already eating and I did not want to wait while a new dish was prepared so I ate the linguine. In addition, I had to ask for bread twice before we had any. I have eaten at Maggiano many times and the overall experience has generally been good. This was not very memorable. p.s. My wife hosted a luncheon at Tyson's Maggiano on 3/16 and she said everything was fine.

The service was horrible, they were busy but this was ridiculous. We ordered two appetizers and had to remind them to bring the second. Our main dishes took over an hour and 15 minutes to be brought to our table (after we brought it to their attention) and we never received our salads until after our main dishes had arrived (1 hr 30 min after ordering) which by that time we no longer wanted because our main dish would be cold if we put them to the side to finally eat our salads. Ridiculous

Our service was a little lacking. Our server was very nice but he forgot to order one of our apps and when our apps came they were about 10 min apart. Our entrees took about 30 min. A manager came over and said that one of the entrees was burned and that it had to be remade. I am the general manager of a restaurant in DC and I might be a little critical. All of this being said. My wife and our family love your restaurant and will be back soon. Thank You Ryan McCarthy

The service was terrible. It took about 15 minutes for the waitress to come by...then 10 minutes for the drinks to come. Our salads came before the drinks and then the main course came before we had time to finish. The waitress did not come by again for 15 minutes and therefore we never got things like cheese, ground pepper or more drinks. The food was good but the service made it forgetable.

There needs to be a waiting area. We had to wait for 30 minutes in a very small and crowded area. There were a lot of people waiting, plus waiters running through with food and people smoking at the bar. We were constantly run into by others and asked to move by staff because we were in the way - but there was no place to move. This was not a pleasant start to our meal.
