Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Noyaa offers a vibrant dining experience with a lively ambiance and "fantastic" entertainment, such as fire shows and DJs. Diners praise the "amazing" food and unique menu blending Asian and Mediterranean influences. However, service can be inconsistent, with long wait times and small portions. Perfect for special occasions but improvements in service are needed.

Their food very too oily! They were out of the foam needed for several drinks on their own menu, had no tea, and no decaf. My Americano was served cold (they did replace it). It was a Wednesday night with only about 10% of the restaurant occupied, so it was surprising to see so many basic items unavailable. Hopefully they improve their inventory and consistency

First off, I never complain about restaurants online but I had to write this after the dinner we just experienced. This was one of the worst food experiences I have ever had. We ordered a Tomahawk steak medium rare ($500). When it arrived it was so salty and over cooked it was literally not edible. Also, our bottle of wine tasted like vinegar because it was spoiled. The manager and wait staff all tried the steak and wine and agreed they were both terrible. Check out the photo with the Tomahawk covered in salt. So ridiculous lol After all of that, they brought us another steak after waiting for an hour an half and when it arrived we didn’t even have any plates, forks or knives. If the owner/management focused more on food quality and customer service than putting on a show, this restaurant may survive. However, there are much better spots to eat in Toronto. The food and customer service here were terrible. I will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone.

First of all I'd like to say that I think the concept is great but was poorly executed. The server couldn't be bothered to be there since the moment we walked in. She was on her phone in the middle of the dining room both texting and calling. She had no idea about anything whether it was the juices or the food. When we asked for tea, she just simply said all the teapots are broken in the restaurant. When other people were dropping off food for us, they asked if we ordered those and we mentioned that we're not sure because the server just ordered for us (which we thought was standard procedure since she didn't even ask us what we wanted), even the food runner seemed confused about that. We asked about two of the hot appetizers and she said it was at the cold buffet station which I find odd, we couldn't tell what was what and didn't make sense that it would be there. The quality of the sashimi and the ceviches were really good but the chefs were way too slow in putting up the food even though there were only 7 or 8 tables. Our entrees came up more than half an hour after the table behind us even though we were told to order them as soon as we sat down. We sat down just after noon and entrees arrived around 120pm. The entertainment created a great ambience but the execution of actual service overshadowed everything. The concept once again is really good but just really poorly executed, really not sure if I'd ever be back.

FAQs

Yes, Noyaa can be a great date-night spot if you want a vibrant, show-driven evening. Guests frequently praise the beautiful decor, live entertainment, and creative cocktails, which create a memorable, celebratory atmosphere. Note it’s often loud with dancers and a DJ, so it’s better for couples who enjoy an energetic supper-club vibe rather than a quiet, intimate conversation. For a calmer experience, try an earlier seating on a weekday and mention seating preferences when you book.

Noyaa delivers a high-energy, theatrical supper-club atmosphere, stylish interiors, live performers, DJs and a show-forward dining experience. Guests love the beautiful décor, entertainment and craft cocktails, calling it an ideal spot for celebrations. Expect loud music and flashing lights at peak times; it’s designed as an experiential, social venue rather than a quiet fine-dining room.

For a more relaxed dinner, choose a weekday (Tue–Thu) or an early seating; guests often recommend these times for smoother service and less noise. If you want the full party and entertainment vibe, Friday or Saturday nights are the best choice, expect a louder, high-energy atmosphere and later hours.

Busiest: weekend late nights (Friday–Saturday after 9pm) when the venue shifts to a louder, club-like energy. Quietest: early evening seatings and weekday nights (Tuesday–Thursday opening service) tend to be calmer with easier conversation and quicker table service. Plan accordingly depending on whether you want a lively show or a quieter dinner.

Portions at Noyaa tend to be on the smaller side and are often designed to be shared. Numerous guests mention small mains and shareable plates, and several found dishes pricey for the portion. The menu’s structure, many “bites, ” sushi towers and sharing plates like wagyu, seafood and dim sum, supports a tapas-style meal where ordering multiple items is common if you want to leave fully satisfied.

The dress code is smart casual. Guests often treat Noyaa as an occasion spot, many praise the upscale, stylish décor and entertainment, so dressing smartly fits the vibe. If you’re coming for a special celebration, smart-casual or dressier attire is appropriate.

For a slightly calmer experience, go early on a weekday (opening seating), guests report earlier seatings are quieter and service can be smoother. If you want the full party/supper-club energy, Friday and Saturday nights or later evenings are best. Because the venue can get busy and loud after 9pm, consider an early reservation and ask for a dining-room table if you prefer conversation-friendly seating.

Yes, you can and should call ahead to request seating preferences, celebrate birthdays, or flag allergies. Guests sometimes reported staff accommodating celebrations and allergies, though handling has been inconsistent; some guests requested birthday acknowledgements or preorders (flowers) with mixed results. To avoid surprises, call the host team before arrival and reconfirm any special requests so they can note and (hopefully) honor them.
