Food was good, but service staff was cheerful and attentive. Seems like it would be a great place for lunch or casual dining, but because of all the kids, maybe not such a good idea for a romantic date or a "special" dinner. But the staff, including reception, was awesome!

Very good fresh fish selection. The ceviche appetizer was excellent and the Ahi 3 Ways was quite good. Not the place to go if you want a quiet dining experience, but the food makes the "lively" atmosphere tolerable. I will eat there again.

We chose this restaurant for our Valentine's Dinner because we had wanted to go there for a long time. We arrived a little before our reservation but we were seated right away. Onew of the staff member immediately delivered the water and a snack of small fish-shaped pretzels and edamame beans. Next to arrive was our server, a beautiful young woman who introduced herself as Karla and she welcomed us, made accurate recommendations and was very attentive throughout the meal. The food is seafood based (as the name would indicate) and done in a mix of nouveau-California with an Asian flair, with great presentation and more than ample portions. I would highly recommend this restaurant to our friends.

Any restaurant that serves a seaweed salad and optional brown rice bowls with several types of tuna has met their competition. The staff was great about describing the different types of fish and where they came from. We reserved a table and were given a booth with worn seat, which I assumed meant it was the most popular booth. The restaurant was comfortable and part of an upscale shopping center.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2008VIP
    Dined on 6/27/2008
We had to wait almost twenty minutes for our table, with a reservation. The host explained to us, and to another party that was also waiting, that our tables would both be ready once the current patrons left. In both cases, the host explained that the current patrons had either paid or were paying their respective tabs, but had chosen to stay at their tables...and he was reluctant to ask them to leave. My impression is that the staff must have been short-handed or perhaps surprised by an unexpected rush of diners...surprising for 7:30 on a Friday night. Additionally, they had run out of one of the beers highlighted on the specials menu.

It was very loud when we were there because of large family group(s) with young children. The floors look somewhat grubby and overall the place looks a bit cavernous. We had mixed experiences with the food; the ahi tuna rice bowl was mediocre (tasteless and stringy fish) but other diners enjoyed their entrees (fish and chips, Japanese style tilapia. The service was very good-- friendly and attentive.
