This was the most devine experience at Alfredo's. I live in the Boston area and I find this restaurant truly a great place. I would recommend this to anyone who asks. The service was the more gracious of all an appealing during the entire encounter. I had a woman who served my group who is with child and she was so upbeat and wonderful during our meal that it showed me how the people in their services at this place take very good pride in managing a superb atmosphere even in a most amazing position. Something to relish.

We live nearby and just love Alfredo's! The food is consistently good--though was a little disappointed by the portion size of the ravioli. They have the most outstanding seafood. The specials are always interesting and authentically specials, not just regular menu items that are being highlighted. We typically go mid week so we were shocked at how busy it was on a Friday night---though I guess our "secret" is out. I shouldn't be shocked. We've yet to find any food that we don't like---absolutely try some of their seafood. Always fresh, always delicious!!

Eggplant appetizer was overcooked and bland. Bruchetta was burnt. Chicken Piccadilly and the other main dishes were great. Unfortunately they couldn't produce a bowl of pasta without anything in it - kept coming out with broccoli pieces in it which freaked out my son. Frustrating.

The veal parmigiana was excellent. While the steak was not cooked to order (overcooked) the staff was apologetic and took great pains to be helpful and make the experience a good one. The moral is, when eating in an Italian restaurant, stick with the Italian items on the menu.

My boyfriend and I love Italian food, so we decided to try Alfredos. It is a cozy local restaurant - definitely nothing fancy, but the food was very good. I had the fettucini alfredo and my boyfriend had the steak special. He had a mudslide and very much enjoyed it. There is a bar attached to the restaurant as well. We will definitely go back.

The service was great, however the food was a disappointment. Linguine was overcooked and soupy, and the chicken and veal had a pasty texture as well. Had an OT reservation, but still had to wait in an unheated area {Winter review} for 20 minutes for a table to be available on a Sunday evening. Wasn't too busy in there, so more likely was poor management of seating. Waitstaff was very friendly and attentive, However couldn't make up for the food. Likely won't be headed back there as it wasn't worth the 25 minute drive.

the place was empty when we went for lunch. they sat us down but forgot to give us a menu! when the waiter came to take our order we had to ask for a menu. She apologized and got us a menu right away. when we asked about menu items she didn't really seem that enthusiastic about them and made it sound like they were okay. Overall the food was good for the price we paid. we weren't rushed and it was a good place to spend the afternoon with a friend. I'm not sure if I'll go back there again though, wasn't too impressed.

Our first trip and it will not be our last. My daughter and I went for a quick lunch. OUTSTANDING from start to finish. We started with carlimari which we shared (plenty for two). Then, she had a chicken cordon blue sandwich with french fries and I had a chicken parmagian sandwich and fries. Both were very good and the fries were great. I forgot to mention the bread that they bring to your table...one word OUTSTANDING. My daughter (a pastry chef in Boston) tried the moltan lava cake with ice cream and really enjoyed it...she is VERY picky when it comes to deserts. Wait staff was very attentive but we never felt rushed or "overserved". Loved the gift card back thing...gave it to my daughter to use in the future. We will be back!!!

My guy and I enjoyed a quiet NY Eve at Alfredo's. We always enjoy ourselves here -- the food is "grandmother's" style, lots of great pasta choices with wonderful sauces, as well as varied meat, chicken and fish dishes. Alfredo's is pretty casual and comfy and good value for good food. Very consistent in all aspects.

We especially love the flexibility of the wine menu, we enjoy wine, but don't like paying a second mortgage for a bottle. Our server was very attentive, and not overbearing. We LOVE Alfredo's! We have tried nearly everything at this point and are always been pleased with the selection. We're big fans of the homemade Minestrone and the fresh seafood. It's an unassuming place without expensive decor. Just last night we were reminded why we love going---the host opened an emergency door to let an elderly woman in who couldn't find a parking space in the lot out back. He greeted her by name and offered her a table right by the door where it was easiest for her to sit. It's rare to get service like that in this day and age. All waitstaff knows the menu inside and out. Ask about the 1/2 back special Mon and Tues and free dessert on Weds and Thursdays! Great neighborhood food. Fantastic service!

A relaxed neighborhood restaurant with reasonable Italian food with some Greek items as well. The chicken bracciolatine was served in a pool of fairly tasty gravy. It was filled with ham and cheese and served without mushrooms as I had ordered. It was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. My wife had a seafood pasta dish that she enjoyed though. They had a children's menu and my son enjoyed the chicken fingers and fries he ordered. The wine list was reasonably priced and the wait staff was very friendly and quick to clear things out of the way. Never felt rushed. Might try this place again, but not the same dishes. It's a nice casual dining experience, just wish the food was a little bolder.

Although we have dined here on several occasions, this particular evening was disappointing overall. There were four of us in the party and three of us did not enjoy our meals. One request was 'medium well' and it was clearly burned (the butternut squash was delicious.) Another 'lemon piccata' dish did not have much of a lemon flavor and there were no capers. Anotehr dis-baked manicotti-was buried in sauce (very small portion of manicotti when it was found!) As mentioned previously, meals of other occasions have been satisfying. Bad night for the restaurant?

My wife and I usually drive into the North End but Saturday we were lazy and decided to drive 2 miles to Alfredo's. We should have driven to the North End. The restaurant was very noisy and the food wasn't that good, although there was more than enough. The Ceasar Salad had red peppers and eggs, something I don't get at other restaurants and it didn't taste like a Ceasar salad. We bought a meal to go for my daughter and she ended not eating it because she said wasn't very good. We won't be going back to Alfredo's.

My husband and I went on Valentine's Day and the food servicer was "out-to-lunch", we watched other tables get great service, we did not. We watched all of the ladies being presesnted with a rose when the bill was presented, we did not. I felt like our food server was untrained and very insensative to the fact it was Valentine's Day, her mind was elsewhere. Not the best restaurant, nor the cleanest, but the food is pretty good and reasonably priced. But, do not go on a special occassion, unless you want it ruin.

We were very pleased. Based on the reviews and the avg, price posted on opentable we chose Alfredo's over other local restaurants that were similarly rated but slightly pricier. We met my wife's college roommate and her husband. It was our turn to pick the restaraunt and Quincy was a half way point for us to meet since none of us were very familiar with the area so I went to OPenTable. We couldn't have been happier. The food was excellent and the waitress was there like majic every time she was need, not too often and definately not neglectfull. When the bill came after desert it was "easily digestable:..
