Delicious !! Reminded me of trip to Greece; nice variety of choices. Had the branzino; perfect (a little small) Friends souvlaki gyro was huge and looked good. Puts warm and wonderful, waiter very accommodating. Will definitely return

This is a fine addition to the Portland restaurant scene. There's nobody else in town offering Mediterranean cuisine like this.

Our first time at Magissa. We found the consistent rain had finally let up and their roll up/garage door style doors were open to full embrace the warm weather. It's at a busy intersection, but it didn't bother us and the park across the street was enjoyable to hear the kids laughing. Drinks were truly delicious!

We tried pretty much everything on the menu and it was all excellent. The creamed leaks served with the lamb entre were especially good. The grilled Branzino entre was tasty but the portion was really tiny. Nice selection of greek wines and interesting "designer" cocktails. Service was prompt and our server was pleasant and efficient.

Went to Magissa with a friend to catch up, and it was a great choice. The vibe is super on theme - warm and very Greek without feeling tacky or overdone. Food-wise, everything we had was tasty. The branzino was nicely charred and flavorful, just a little smaller than we expected. The chicken sandwich special was good too, but the bun took over - definitely more bread than chicken. The real highlight was the service. Our waitress was awesome - attentive and never made us feel rushed. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely welcoming. It was a lovely evening and a nice spot to unwind. Would definitely go back!

A friend and I dined here for the first time. We sampled a lot of different things from the menu. Everything was delicious! The service was very good. Looking forward to going back again!

The food was amazing and the overall ambience was really nice. The restaurant was decorated beautifully, plates were flavorful. Cocktails were perfect! So happy we stumbled upon Magissa
