White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. The menu includes several White Dog staples, such as Kennett Square Mushroom Soup, Double Cheddar Burger, Lamb Bolognese, Truffle Fries, and house-made bread baskets from local farms, alongside new additions.

    Very enjoyable lunch. The room was a little over air conditioned but that's what we do in the summer.

    A lovely evening in a most charming setting. Our whipped ricotta starter, as always, was perfect, the Flounder Francaise, delicious and a wonderful bluebery, lemon pound cake was the sublime ending to a most enjoyable visit. The staff is warm and friendly with our server,Tracy, simply the BEST!

    We started off with the perrogies, which were excellent! I wish I could have ordered them as a main course. My wife had he flounder which looked excellenr and tasted even better. Although small in size it was excellent. I had the Buccatini- again excellent taste, the shrimp were fresh and tasted very good. Again, for the price you need more pasta. There was very little pasta and it only costs cents to add more to make the dish better!

    Server was very friendly. They really push the sustainability narrative, however it is unclear how they are sustainable. Had to pay $12 for a basket of rolls, only 4 rolls in the basket. For such expensive dining, bread should be free. Interior is cute with a dog theme, wait staff all dressed like farmers which was confusing with the dog theme. They offer a $22 foot long hotdog for an appetizer, that where the outrageous prices begin! Food was good but not worth the prices

    Food was just a little off last night. There was something different about the bolognese, and the Berkshire chop was not good - too much fat and it was chewy. Everyone has a bad day, and this was one of those. Will still be back. Our server Sean did a great job

    We have been here 6 times in 6 weeks. Food has been consistently fresh, the staff is super friendly and there is just something really special about the ambiance on the front patio. They have done so much with the landscaping and hardscaping to create lovely surroundings. We love it here and look forward to returning again soon.

    Outstanding Value! From the greeting as you enter to the outstanding service. You always feel welcome. The cheese appetizer is a must! Thank you White Dog for an amazing Birthday celebration for my wife!
