Steak was full of Grissle and not edible. They cooked new one was right so it was not good

I really wish I could give this steak house a very good review buy I cannot!! The food was good but our steaks were overcooked. Hard to believe at a famous steak house! Our Caesar salads and lobster was good. Our waiter was obviously trying to perform for a bigger tip and was much too rehearsed and not genuine in his approach. He as obviously trying too hard and it really detracted from the ambiance. We were celebrating a birthday and an anniversary and in the past the shared desert was complementary and in fact the server we had last year, stated that they would again be complimentary. IT WASN’T. $13.00 is not going to break me when I spent $345.00 on diner, but it might be a deciding factor when I choose this restaurant in the future or not! We are blessed in Rochester with some very good eating establishments. Time to look elsewhere in the future!

Our dining experience at Ruth's Chris in Rochester, MN was excellent. Our dinner was truly some of the best food we've ever enjoyed. The service was stellar. All staff members thatcwe encountered were eager to be certain that our evening was unforgettable.

Both steaks were not cooked to order - well done versus the medium rare requested. The lobster Mac was lukewarm warm/cold. The shrimp was fantastic.
