   Joined their waitlist almost 45 minutes before my arrival for a party of 5. Once we finally arrived, THEY WOULD NOT HONOR MY WAITLIST POSITION. They said their Open Table waitlist was “turned off” in their system. I showed them my confirmation on the app, and they still wouldn’t honor my position on the waitlist. What poor customer service. Be better, Piesanos. Be better.

   Char cup pepperoni pizza is not bad but, not great. The pepperoni should be cut thicker as I t tends to dry out and get a stale flavor rather than the char and moist texture a Pepe’s from New Haven or similar. There is too much semolina on the crust which comes through as a prominent taste and texture. The bread buns served before the meal are covered an Italian dressing which leaves them soggy with an awkward sour taste. They would be so much better to have with olive oil, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes on the table. Wait staff is friendly and atmosphere is very average.

   Great service, food, and atmosphere. The manager made her way to every table and asked “how everything was”. You don’t get that type of service anymore…kudos to Piesanos Lakewood Ranch, Job well done. We had a party of four and had the calamari, Cesar salad, and pizza. We were surprised how hardy the portions were on everything that was being served at our table and around us. We will be sure to visit soon again, and recommend to others.

   Great food loved the pizza pasta was tasty and cooked just right. Ashley was a good waitress. Bar made excellent drinks

   Loved this new restaurant! The food is delicious and the service was excellent. The Manager came to our table several times just checking to be sure all was well. I highly recommend this restaurant!
