I have been going to Chateau Morrisette for several years and love it. The food is always excellent. The service is professional and friendly. Chateau Morrisette's location on the Blue Ridge Parkway offers some of the most beautiful scenic views imaginable. I would highly recommend both the restaurant and winery to anyone who enjoys excellent food and wine. Additionally, the music festivals they have during the summer are a blast!

An excellent and informative tour of the winemaking facility was very enjoyable. A personal wine tasting provided insight into the variety of Chateau Morrisette vintages, all of which help set the tone for a most enjoyable luncheon. We will return soon.

The weather wasn't good but the restaurant and food were excellent. Our server Beth went out of her way to meet our needs and more. I highly recommend this restaurant for a quiet, out of the way but fine dining experience. Charming decor. It was my brother-in-law's birthday and the restaurant was an excellent choice for the celebration. I will go back for my birthday this year. It was cold and raining but the fireplace was so welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant plus a great winery tour.

My husband and I have been celebrating our respective birthdays there since 2003 (when we heard about C.M.), and we have had a wonderfully memorable experience each and every time. The food is delicious(we quietly, "mmmm, this is so good", throughout the meal)...the atmosphere is lovely and romantic...the service is always great...It is our favorite restaurant in the area (we live in Christiansburg)....and, of course, we like the wine, Our Dog Blue in particular. We appreciate the fact also that the owner seeks to provide a great product and service while honoring high standards and values. We will definitely continue our association with Chateau Morrisette and look forward to doing so.

We actually went there on the 21st and 22nd. On March 21st, the service (server's name was Misty) was below par. She seemed very overwhelmed. We ordered wine with dinner and we were finished w/ our dinner when the wine showed up. The food was good and they comped our appetizer. We went back on the 22nd, and everything was perfect. The server, Jessica, was very attentative and we were very pleased. The food was delicious and we would definitely go back!!

Floyd, VA is becoming known for its music scene and gorgeous mountains. Amid those mountains is Virginia's largest winery, Chateau Morrisette and its beautiful restaurant. We took our sophisticated daughter and her boyfriend there for lunch and they thoroughly enjoyed the food, the view and the wine selection. The service was lovely. We recommend it.

The waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu, made excellent recommendations/suggestions, and provided excellent service (not too much, not too little). The chef was justifiably proud of his daily special (swordfish baked in parchment paper w/sauce and fresh vegetables). Dessert was top-notch also. A bit pricy, but well worth every penny, particularly for special occasions.
