Luna Muna means "The House of The Moon" our name is a mixed of spanish and garífuna language. We are a restaurant motivated by three pillars: Nature, Art & Gastronomy. When you visit us you will be surrounded by trees, birds, and the beach just a few steps away. That makes our restaurant the best spot for sunsets.
Our gastronomy involves natural and homemade ingredients that are carefully picked by our Chef Alex Flores who has inspired his menu from the different gastronomies around the world. You will find some asian, italian, spanish american and local flavors that gives a variety that everyone will enjoy, he also offers a section of vegan and vegeterian dishes.
The bar has a signature cocktail list made by our in-house mixologists, they added tropical, citric and spicy flavors you can't miss.

While in Roatán for a friend’s birthday celebration, we had the pleasure of dining at Luna Muna, a hidden gem that more than lived up to the hype. From the moment we arrived (via water taxi from our hotel) the entire experience felt like a perfect blend of island charm and upscale dining. Service was a standout. Our waiter, Jorge, was attentive and warm without being intrusive, making sure we felt welcomed and well taken care of. At the bar, Jessy crafted some truly memorable cocktails. You could immediately tell he’s passionate about his craft. Both the JJ Special and the Tropical Gin were creative, well-balanced, and refreshing, setting the tone for the rest of the evening. For dinner, I ordered the Lobster Ravioli, which was rich, creamy, and bursting with fresh seafood flavor. The vibe at Luna Muna is effortlessly cool, blending beachfront elegance with a relaxed Caribbean atmosphere. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a night out, it’s the kind of place that turns a good evening into an unforgettable one.

Such. Good game - excellent good. Great service. If there’s one thing I personally recommend it’s the apps. Not that the mains aren’t good, but our favoritie part of the meal was sharing several apps.

Food overall good but not as good as in the past. Believe they must have a new chef. The cream of their pasta is watery and pasta filling not all the way cooked. Apps and drinks were great. Love the ambiance and service.

Stayed at this property last year - loved the hotel and the restaurant . Couldn’t get into the hotel this year but made a point to dine here again. Still fabulous food , service and ambience . If you come to roatan and want finer dining experience this is the place !!

We ate here for my birthday and the ambience and food were absolutely outstanding! It did take forever to get our tab paid, but that’s the only reason I took one star away from the review. Highly recommend it would definitely go again! I had the lobster ravioli and he had the king crab tortellini. We thought the bill was completely reasonable. Do yourself a favor and go at night!!!
