   If you’re dining out these days, the experience needs to meet a certain standard — and unfortunately, this one did not. The salad was vastly over-dressed, the schnitzel lacked authenticity, and the fish completely missed the mark. While the cocktails and bread were excellent, the main courses fell well short of expectations - especially given the past reviews. The room & vibe were lovely, so that made the meal that much more disappointing.

   We did the chef's menu (74$ each), which was a 4-course meal with 7 dishes. The food was exceptional - so flavourful and unique. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind, and the pacing of the meal was perfect. Overall, a 10/10 experience!

   I'm giving 1 star because I can't give less. When we arrived at the restaurant, we waited a few minutes to be seated. Despite other tables for two being available, we were offered a table near the door. I politely asked for another spot, but the hostess then directed us to a cramped corner between the bar and the kitchen—clearly not meant for guests, more like a staff break area. When we asked again for a different table, she finally seated us at a table that had been free the whole time, but did so with a visible attitude. She even remarked that our dining time would be shorter because we had "wasted time." At that point, we chose to leave and went elsewhere. The entire situation nearly ruined our date night. I can't help but wonder if this treatment had something to do with the fact that we're Black. Either way, the experience was unacceptable, and we won’t be returning.

   Had an incredible experience at Florette. The cocktails and food were delicious and the vibes immaculate. It’s become a favourite in my books.

   Everything was great, service was good with the exception that we felt rushed to order and the food came very quickly. Dinner and drinks were fully completed in 75 mins. This was because we were told if we didn't get the whole order in we might be very delayed because it would get busy. The food came SUPER fast! This wasn't the case, it was a tactic to free up a table. Didnt like that.

   Overall, it was fine. But I am so tired of these Toronto restaurants that offer small dishes which are overpriced. The waiter suggested ordering 5-6 dishes, which would have easily brought the tab to over $200. Nothing to write home about for this place.

   Dinner was lovely. We got the chefs menu and it was beautiful food, delicious. The service was exceptional and we had a great time. We will be going back! Highly recommend! It’s really pretty too!

    Florette is an absolute gem! The food was nothing short of amazing—the chefs' menu was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. From start to finish, the experience felt special. It’s the kind of place you stumble upon and instantly want to keep as your little secret... but it’s too good not to share. Highly recommended!
