Camino Alto is a new Farm to Table restaurant in the Cow Hollow neighborhood. Owner Josh Copeland's idea of serving fresh, seasonal food was born at the height of the pandemic, from his deep desire to bring people together with remarkable food and ambiance that will fill you up in all ways -- clean, unprocessed food with no hidden chemicals. Josh and his team shop at farmers' markets and buy only the highest quality produce, oils, meat and seafood. They believe the best meals start with great farmers, ranchers, roasters, brewers and winemakers who understand Mother Earth and her seasons like few do. You can find deeply flavorful dishes including market salads, seafood, steak (and many great brunch options). Camino Alto is both vegan and GF friendly and the team cheerfully promote the philosophy "Eat what you love. Do it with thought, do it with the season, and whenever you can, do it with others." Steak way overcooked and cold. I potatoes it came with were hard as rocks. If wasn’t with new company I’d have sent back. Disappointing…have always loved everything here.

Beautiful food with abundance of seasonal vegetables. Socca and brussel sprouts wee amazing. Green salad was bland Both fish dishes were perfect. Service a little slow so leave plenty of time

This was a great find. The appetizers and main course were great excellent. Parking can be hard to find on the street but there is a parking garage only a few blocks away

Innovative yet simple dishes using the freshest ingredients, friendly and attentive wait staff, and contemporary yet cozy decor make Camino Alto SF a MUST. It feels like a neighborhood gem but it's worth venturing to regardless of where in the Bay Area you live.

This still hidden gem is one of our favorite places to come. Inventive and amazing dishes and a great wine list introducing us to some new faves. Must try.

Loved the ceviche but the chips were chewy/not crisp. The Japanese sweet potato with Romanesco sauce was amazing, as were the Brussel sprouts with crispy rice. The pork shoulder was tender, well seasoned, and overall delicious! I love the ambience of this place. It's warm/cozy yet feels modern.
