My husband and I. Decided to have an European lunch, but the food was not what we expected. Not happy with the schnitzel we ordered, was too thick and tough. The Waiter had no knowledge of German beers, and for $17 a wine glass I expected a normal pour. Well, Perhaps was a bad day! The Restaurants is new.

Homemade Pretzel- amazing! Sausage Trio - delicious, but the potato salad was bland Jager Schnitzel- delicious, but the spatzle was bland. We shared this meal and the restaurant was nice enough to split our meal for us. Very nice touch. Ambiance was very nice, but the tables were VERY close together. Definitely felt like we were all crammed in. There was a point during our meal where the server stood in between our table and the table next to us and his bottom was literally touching our table and inches from my food and face. My friend and I were definitely caught off guard. Overall, definitely liked our experience and we will be returning.

Unusual menu with excellent selections. Smoked bratwurst was excellent, as was the "veal" Schnitzel. Cheese Pretzel was the best "soft pretzel" I've ever eaten. Service was both professional and attentive. Over-all, Naschmarkt is an excellent addition to the Pleasanton restaurant scene.

Very overpriced bland food! The Wiener Schnitzel was tasteless and a bit too soggy, the potato cucumber salad was so watery it was basically soup. The appetizer pretzel and the Apfelstrudel were ok. Was happy about the extensive German beer list but if you charge $13 for a Schneider Weisse then serve it in the proper glas please!

Nice addition to downtown Pleasanton! Good food, full bar with many beer choices. Tight quarters though and prices on higher side. Will definitely go back as this new restaurant settles in and irons out the kinks.

Really tasty food. New, so they have some kinks to work out. Waited a long time for appetizer, then our salad/soups appeared and our mains within 1 min. So timing off, made it pretty awkward. But worked out. Very pretty inside, a bit loud and hard to hear companions but overall grateful for a new non-Italian restaurant in Main St!

So happy this restaurant is in Pleasanton! I liken the restaurant and service to that of a fine dining, white table restaurant. Where there is a main server, a helper, and another who cleans crumbs from the table between dishes. Attention to detail was extraordinary! The food is amazing!!!! I ordered •Classic Wiener Schnitzel •Homemade Pretzel with Double Smoked Bacon Beer Cheese •Apfel Strudel Dessert

We had a wonderful dinner with friends. The food was excellent and very different from the usual restaurants in town. The service was spot on and our server was delightful! Portions were plentiful and we unfortunately did not have room for dessert. We look forward to returning and trying the Strudel next time!
