   It was such a lovely experience! Haven’t been there in awhile and it was so nice to be back. Lovely atmosphere, food was delicious.

   The breakfast meals were good: pancakes and French toast. The appetizer came with very little bread but they brought more so all good. The tortiere gravy was heavily salted, far beyond edible. We did bring it to their attention but received no explanation. It was just ok.

   Excellent service, from being seated throughout the entire meal. Appetizer, drinks, and entree’s were really good. The difference between for and five stars for food was the tortiere was dry due to reheating. Overall good size portions that filled you up. Gnocchi was something that needs to be experienced.

   The menu had many delicious options and the food that we did have was extremely tasty and satisfying. Staff (service) was efficient..minimum effort with maximum results. A very pleasant evening.

   Extremely slow and inattentive service. Had a 5:45 reservation and the restaurant was mostly full, but not packed. We ordered cocktails and a cheese tray. The tray came out almost immediately but drinks didn’t come for over 15 minutes. Our entrees took over 45 minutes to come out, arriving around 7:05. We had to ask for the bill immediately to catch a show, which was the only part of service that was quick. My steak was quite overcooked but we did not have enough time to send it back; even if we had time, no one checked on us at any point in the meal. Extremely disappointing service from what was one of my favourite restaurants in the exchange.

   The food is very good. Oysters are excellent! We ordered another dozen after the first round, the server forgot about it but we were very full anyway. It was a great dinner experience.

    Can’t beat buck a shuck Wednesdays! Great by the glass wine list Torturer is classic! Something exotic in the steak tartare (??syrian spice blend? Some cinnamon?) - very very good Always a fun vibe with prompt and pleasant staff
