The Sushi is very good. Chef Nakazawa is friendly. But, considering how difficult to make a reservation here and the price, I do not think it is worthwhile. Sitting sushi bar is the best if you dine at a sushi restaurant, but here, Chef Nakazawa is running a show like Benihana. He is nice enough to tell us where the fish is from, but no further communication like the one you expect at the sushi counter. The show is run strictly in accordance with the schedule, and sitting at the sushi bar does not make much different from sitting at a table. Again, the sushi is good, but not a type of restaurant I am inclined to come back. If Chef Nakawaza opens his own restaurant (not as an employee chef), he may run the place differently.

Sat at the bar, had omakase + sake pairing. The regular pairing didn't impress me, but it did the job. Had fun with Nakazawa and the staff in both Japanese and English. Everyone was very polite. The food was absolutely delicious, and that's coming from a discerning sushi lover. (The only thing I didn't love was the grouper.) Decor was alright, but the chairs really crowd the bar, and it's hard to get in and out of them without help, which is a little awkward. We had a great time regardless, so kudos to everyone!

My experience was amazing. The staff was phenomenal. Everyone was very helpful, polite and courteous. Chef Nakazawa is easy easy going and playful. As each piece was plated, it was pieces of heaven that just uplifted the my sense for more. I highly recommend the sake pairing. It made such a difference. Truly one of the best meals I have ever had. Simplicity at its finest. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I will be visiting again and hopefully sometime soon.

It's the freshness of the sushi, the rice, and the combination of flavors that makes this place one of the best places to eat Sushi anywhere in the world! Also, it's the world renown sushi chef (Apprentice appearing in Jiro Dreams of Suhi) that makes the experience even that much greater! Best sushi I have ever had - hands down!

The wait for this restaurant was well worth it. I was excited to finally catch a glimpse of Nakazawa himself but I caught more than a glimpse of him. He served everyone at the bar and his reputation is well deserved. Not only was he an entertaining host but the food he prepared was incredible.
