   We came to celebrate my birthday. The team who served us didn’t really paid attention to us, we ran out of water, we had to request to different waiters. They didn’t serve the food to the correct person. The music and the ambiance were not very warm. I had to ask for a candle on my dessert. Desserts were bring when not all the 9 people we seated a the table, only the half. And they forgot the candle. For a birthday, that would be nice to have a caring attention. For the bill, they only accept 1 bill for the table. As a table of 9, the gratuity was automatically 20%. I think the team knew they had their 20% so they didn’t put any effort. I don’t really recommend this place

   Great food, we got the mushroom pasta and steak- both were delicious. Service was lovely, great value for a nice date night in Toronto.

   I went to this restaurant a few years back and I remember the fungi pasta being the best pasta I had in my life at a Toronto resto! I raved about it to friends for years, and was so excited to try it again. Unfortunatley , It appears the whole dish has been changed. Everything was skimped out on and smaller portions. Mushrooms were super small. Barely any sauce. The pasta itself was different. It just wasn’t the same and some of the guests that came with me were still hungry after their meal, which is super disappointing to see from an Italian restaurant. I hate to see a restaurant age poorly like this, there’s literally fan pages from 2019 trying to recreate the funghi pasta :(

   our waiter evan was great and the manager was super accommodating to put tables together for us all to sit together despite it being a very busy night!

    The food and service are always top notch at Gusto. Our party had the arancini and meatballs to start, a Diavola pizza, a burger, and a salad with chicken. Everything was perfect, as it usually is at Gusto. Also great service. Would highly recommended.
