    Exceeded expectations which were high. What's not to love about $1 oysters, interesting cocktails, and a well priced and curated wine list. The Creole inspired menu has something for everyone. We enjoyed the wings (small but tasty), the cacio e pepe deviled eggs (inspired), fried calimari (solid) and the crab beignets (a hit) to start. My crawfish pasta was spot on- perfectly cooked pasta and rich tasty sauce with plenty of crawfish. My friends enoyed the fried chicken, the gumbo and mussels. We are excited to try the steak au poivre. We ate in the back of the main dining room, fathest from the bar and the music. The music was good and loud, mainly due to hard surfaces that refelcted the sound. We might try the upstairs room and the outside patio. Service is friendly and professional. The atmoshpere and vibe is fun. One of the best places I have been in a while.

    EVERYTHING about R Bar is FABULOUS! The food, the service and ESPECIALLY the MUSIC! Soul Project AND Ocean Avenue Stompers!?? What!! SO GREAT!

    Always an excellent experience at RBar. Your staff is pleasant and attentive. Bartenders and cocktail list are great. Food is so well prepared, creative, delicious. Our go to place any day of the week.

    I’ve been here before and I’ll be back again I’m sure. The burger is what I get and I’m not that fond of it. The space is fun and our waitress was great.

    First time at R Bar and it was a great experience.....had bar seating which was just fine...our bartender Camille was attentive and knowledgeable about menu...food was different and sooo good...we will definitely be back
