The people at the restaurant refused me to use an open table dining cheque. They also force you to pay a 20% gratuity even if the table only has 2 people. I asked if you can change the percent and they said no. It's no wonder why they don't care about the service they give you.

while the food is good, there were no more surprises the second time there. Pancakes were not as crispy. Unsure why I had to order before arriving the restaurant.

    1) Private room for a small group - great 2) MUST order a pre-fix menu; needs to be communicated gracefully not by "we will cancel your reservation if you don't order the pre-fix menu" 3) Needs to be proactive service level; we had to constantly request what we needed repeatedly

Dining here was a very good experience. We had the highest priced "fixed" menu. There was a lot of food, so come hungry. The BBQ'd meats were excellent. I'd say a few too many cold dishes, but the rest of the food made up for it. There was no "pork bone soup," which I love having at Korean restaurants that seemed to be missing from the menu. Great atmosphere, and service but come hungry!

This is one of those restaurants you regret eating at because of the positive reviews. Wish I did more research. First service was slow. Took them 15 min to acknowledge us. Big no no. For $60 for the Mee dinner course was not worth it. The amount of meat they give you could be bought for less than $15 at your local grocery store. Pretty much youre paying $45 worth of condiments that you probably never recognize. Im use to cooking our own meat and them cooking for you takes the experience away. We have more fun when cooking. The best Korean BBQ we have had are usually buffet style that are usually $30. Oh my bf asked wine and they prettt much had obly 2 out of the 10 selections available. What a joke. Keep you wine stocked.

I can't say the food was bad, but the lack of ventilation for the grill tables & the close quarters made for an uncomfortable dining experience; add to that a completely unattentive wait staff ( & an undeserved 20% included tip) & I'll never be back!

This Koreatown hideaway puts on an impressive brunch spread consisting of traditional barbecue accompanied by the usual -- but amazing -- array of sides. You'll come away sated but feeling virtuous, because it's all very pure but vividly tasty.

I was there with co-workers for a year-end dinner. After we were seated, we were given only menus for overprised set menus. When I asked for the regular menus, they said that for group reservations made on Open Table, we could only order from the set menus. When I noted that there was no such restriction when making the reservation, they gave us the regular menu. The food was great, as usual, but the experience got off to a bad start because of the whole menu issue. Then, when we got the check, a service charge of 20% had already been added to the bill. Restaurant needs to improve their service to match the food if they want to keep customers coming back.

My wife and I decided to try Korean BBQ everything was great with the exception that our waitress was never around. So another person had to pick up the check from us while we were trying to pay.
